I don't know why I did this to myself. I have like 2 novels to update. IT'S GETTING RIDICULOUS TO UPDATE BRUH. I wish I didn't start the second one. Now I feel too guilty to drop it :sweating_profusely:?Any advice? How do you guys manage?

Well, I put the two others on 'hiatus', since I explained to my readers, I'm focusing on my main project, which is the 'Saint Series'. Most of them are aware that what I say, I do, so they trust I'll finish my novels in due time. Then I told myself I'll finish the 'Ballad' once I'm done with the Saint Series. Then, my manga. And finally, rewrite DECK.

Most would understand, anyway. Key is, just be honest with them. They know you're human too, so they'll be kinda...well, lenient.

Determination and a copious amount of liquor. I'm currently writing 3. I have a schedule I stick with, I spend 1 hour writing for each story summing up to 3 hours. I fucking use D&D, ai and good old random writing prompts. And for my Naruto fanfiction (publication starts next week) lots of source materials.

I have two series, regularly updating them 2-3 days apart. How? I use reverse psychology on myself, writing is my form of procrasination (plus have 20 chapters already scheduled before hand, and only really edit one of the series, the other I edit when i'm in a good mood lol)

Just don't start another novel before you finished your WIP.

Thats really good ?. Keep it up. Ill try to be consistent. Its a recent hobby i picked up and i really enjoy it. Jokes aside i just cant put it on hiatus. It ould be a disservice to the my efforts as well as the very few that read it. My damn job takes so much of my time so i only update weekly. Its basically a stress relief for me. I never thought i would write lol
Yep i wont the same mistake again.

Take a break and stop thinking about it for about 2 weeks to a month, depending on how quickly you feel motivated. That's what I'm doing. Everyone needs a break sometime and it's nothing to feel ashamed of.

if u want to do both u can double the time to update both of them. or if u prefer one over the other u can like make one of them ex: monthly issue and the other. after that u can use chatgpt to help u edit them to further increase your efficiency too. u can also decrease your word count and divide one chapter into part 1 and 2

There are a lot of story ideas (and I mean it when I say a LOT) I want to put to paper but like you, I'd be afraid of the issue where it becomes too much to do all at once. For that reason alone I have resolved to finish my current work before kicking off and starting the next project.
