I planned to release three stories in parallel, scheduled them all in advance by at least a day each; although one posted a day early by accident. I have now been sat on the second novels page for 5 hours. It has been about 36 hours between the first novel posting and the scheduled release for the second novel.

The chapter shows as posted, can be read, followed, favourited. But refuses to show up in lastest updates/series or on the first novels "related series". Is this just some anti-spam feature telling me I can't possibly release more than one novel at a time, or has some thing broken?

I didn't even get around to scheduling the third novel but the second one being dead in the water has me disappointed and confused.

EDIT: to add novel links: (Light Side does not show up on Scribblehub at all but shows you when you use a link, it was posted 6 hours ago)

Check your timezone. Also, what stories are you referring to? Mentioning them won’t just help to solve your problems, they’ll also act to give publicity.

Also, I do know that there is some sort of anti-spam feature for chapter uploads, so I wonder if it is the same for series.

I didn't just want to spam links to my series without making a post first

Dark side does not have Light side listed, light side does not show up at all on the site without a link.

You can schedule releases? Thanks for the info. Also I agree it might be a timezone thing, I've had some confusion with times myself.

I screwed up the release time on the first book; but from the point of that second releasing; this one is, by their own time system, 36 hours difference in their schedule. The chapter shows as posted even for incognito, 6 hours ago. But refuses to show up on their actual site.

If you accidentally post something, then undo it and change it toa new time, it will never show up on the latest or new story list. That chapter is boned.

The novel that isn't showing up.
Is the second novel, posting its first chapter for the first time.
Which was scheduled in advance by 24 hours; a total of 36 hours after the first novel; posting its own first chapter.

It apparently took over 9 hours to even launch the novel homepage for the book; and has not tracked any statistics for the novel since.

DARK novel was posted at 0:10 am saturday, I meant to put it at midday saturday I found out; at 1am it posted early.

LIGHT was scheduled at this point, as a completed chapter, to be midday on sunday, using the exact same timezone reference as DARK, so I could complete it and the third novel CORE; so all three novels would have one chapter posted.

Only as I sit down to refresh the page now, has the site bothered counting analytics, and hasn't put it in the new releases/new posting section.

For the last 9 hours; people have been able to use the link to read the book; without counting towards analytics, while the search function on the site; all new releases lists; refused to show it existed.

Hello! This should answer your questions: https://www.scribblehub.com/faq-authors/#faq_ah_1

Why isn't my novel showing up on the homepage?

  • If it's a new novel, please wait 12 hours after you post your first chapter before it gets approved. Once it's approved, your releases will start showing within 5 minutes of you pressing that publish button.

How often are statistics for my stories updated?

  • Statistics are updated every 24 hours.
