Isekai + GL is an overpowered combination

Yesterday, for the first time since I came to this site, my collection of short stories reached 500+ views in a single day. How did it happen? I started off as isekai, low-key one, and then added GL. And bam, 500 views in a day. I didn't even add smut in any of the short stories. Now I have seen the light, and intend to milk it for all it is worth.

And yet, I have only a single person who gives me hearts every day. I don't know who that is, but I will turn the collection into a 1k chapter beast, just for them. How I wish I got more hearts, though. Maybe, I shouldn't have spammed my readers with so many daily chapters...

Damn, does this mean I could've tripled the 2000 readers on my slime girl novel? Though, technically they don't have a gender (one not anymore, second just assumed a form). So I avoided using it. Also, their couple stuff isn't the main focus. Now I feel like I wasted a chance.

I'm not a GL fan, not my thing. But it's most definitely a trend here, so you will find an audience. Follow what works if that helps with your primary goals. I sift through so many stories looking for anything without the GL or gender bender tags it's ridiculous. To each their own, to find and write what they like.

Isekai, GL, or gender bender seems to be the trend here. Although not really liking this tags it seems to work best here so it is good for authors who writes isekai to be here
