I am looking for something like this. I don’t think there is a novel like this yet.
There is a novel about a young new noble girl who is bullied by other nobles because of her commoner background. She then forges friendship with her harem members and build up her strength. (skills, relationship, authority…) In the end, she exposes the baddies and achieves her happy ending.
The protag is the reader of that novel. In an “accident”, Truck-sama transports her into the novel. She wakes up and realises she has become the female lead of the novel. Knowing the major events of the novel, she decides to play it out and get her happy ending. Then she discovers a massive difference between the novel she read and the novel world she is living in.
The female antagonist who is responsible for the majority of abuses the female lead receives isn’t abusing her. The supposed villainess, duke’s daughter, is a very nice girl. They quickly become friends, and the protag unveils a terrifying secret. The villainess is the one who are bullied instead of her. Worse, all the atrocities the villainess are subjected to are far worse than everything the female lead would suffer combined. Notwithstanding the injustice, the protag decides to change her goal into helping the villainess instead.
