how should I write a Yuri/how does Yuri work

How should I write a Yuri? Not gonna lie, I've never read/written a Yuri before (don't know how the deed is done either), but the characters I want to write are refusing to be a B/B or G/B couple.
Any tips?
Any ideas?
Any pits that I must avoid?
All are welcome and greatly appreciated!

1) Dont do toys. Since the apparition of Sono hanabira eroge, finally yuri with toys disappeared.
2) Study market, and chose a theme that could attract people
3) Likeable FMC and FL.
4) Harem or not harem
5) The name. JP names prefered as anime is mainstream. Near all teens know anime now
6) Just go dynasty reader and look at recent anime works

Look at recent chinese and jp webnovels = Pick a attractive title/summary/cover.

Ex : Title : I became demon lord with my wind magic >>>> The man that controlled the wind

Ex : Summary [Yay ! I reincarnated and could pick a cheat ! I chose the one that allow me to be taken care by women ! BUT WHY ARE THERE ONLY YANDERES !?] >>>> Summary [A man suddenly came to another world, but discovered there were only crazy women. Will he succeed of his goal of getting a harem ?]

PS : Smut. Easiest way to attract readers now. Because [why read a jp novel by english author when people could go read a jp novel by jp author ?]. Its like people prefering a sushi restaurant with a jp chef, despite a sushi restaurant with non-jp chef of same quality.
AND, because now translators are rarer or don't want to translate ero. Danbooru website got thousands of high-quality ero images with dialogues but unlike years ago, it's easy to see that the ero-images are getting far less translation now.

But then people would start arguing it is not yuri anymore and it would be nothing but pointless arguments about something trivial. After that nobody would look at the characters personalities and quirks besides the fact that one of the girls has an extra part attached to her body. And you can get away with anything as long as their focus is on arguing if it's a yuri story or not because of one dangling part under her skirt.

unless you're aiming for a realistic feeling yuri, just write how you feel and acknowledge that people expecting a realistic, believable yuri will be disappointed. i do that as i am far, far from being able to write top notch, believable yuri. i just write stuff i'd want to read.

also, the obligatory "are you writing for yourself or are you writing deliberately for an audience?" if the first, just write what you want and ignore any whiners.

Toys can be done, but they should be extremely rarely used and more oriented to stuff like vibrators as opposed to dildos and strap-ons.

just find stuff that you feel is interesting enough involving FxF pairings and go from there.

for me, it's about two or more guys getting turned into girls and being really gay with each other. plus points if they're also a futanari.
