Honestly, I wanted to take your suggestions but I can't draw, so I'm limited to images I can find and manipulate. The two on the left are new, the far right cover is the original. I axed the anime girl with fireworks. I just didn't like it. Please vote --Kidd

The middle one is a Wyvern not a Dragon but it looks best.

Is there a particular reason to include the dragon, though? Is the dragon the reason for the death of magic? Is the dragon's death being the reason magic disappear?

I like the first one, it's good to see both of these important characters on the cover. And the threat of the dragon appears unavoidable, intimidating to the person

I like the third one because it's impactful, an eruption. Though as far as I've read magic is dying with a whimper, (except for a dragon) so it may not fit unless there is an eruptive event later on.

The 1st one is likely to get more readers! It matches the vibe of your title!

Have you tried ai artwork? I would personally suggest using Midjourney, Dreamstudio, etc. You can create stunning art pieces without even getting copyrighted.

My 2nd signature banner was created by ai artworks.

Depends entirely on the setting. Some have Wyverns as a type of Dragon and others have them as some form of lesser Dragons.

Is there something specific you want to express or depict with the cover? Like, is there a significance to the dragon besides that it shows up?

I think 1 and 2 look the best. But if I had to pick between those two covers, i'd choose #1.

Ah I still like the one on the right. The reds catch my attention. The middle one is nice, but the letters don't have enough contrast with the background. The one on the left is "meh".

The left one looks the best. Something about blue calms my nerves. But if your story is full of action, the right one is the best, it is better to be honest about the contents of the story, and red inspires inner rage, IMO.

Thanks one and all. I think I will switch to #1. It depicts best the scale of my MC's fight. This isn't a small dragon.

Everyone universally hates the title. It wasn't my first choice. My first choice was: To Kill a Dragon. But another book already had that title. Bummers.

#1 looks best, I agree. Personally, and I cannot emphazise enough on personally, I would emphasize a bit more on Saorise, though I can see why you want her to be so small on purpose.

As for the title, why not make a poll? If your title doesn't necessarily has to have the 'magic' word on it, why not working on something based in 'fate?' Something like 'A Fight Against Fate' or something epic like that.
I'm just saying, you can always change the title if you don't like it.
