In that dream I watched that some guy was looking at the source code of the two dogs, and was comparing them. Eventually, he stopped at some code, and found inconsistency. He then asked.

"Have you changed the settings? The value needs to be 24 to work properly."

My mind went "wha-?" and I woke up at 5 am with headache. I have questions that needs to be asked.

More proof that programmers and wizards did the exact same thing. Programmers have typos that screw everything up. Wizards have runes and spells that can easily be messed up by a typo. You just happened to possess a wizard working on his dog familiar's with his co-wizard.
