How long does it take for your novel to appear?

Long time lurker here. Newb author. Newb forum user. Newb at everything.

I posted my story on Scribble Hub. How long does it take to appear?
I search for it in my other browser without my account logged in and it's not there.

Or did I make a mistake by uploading two chapters close together, and it's spam now?

Is this even the right thread?

Will my novel appear after I post this and make me look like an idiot?

Your story needs to be approved first. Usually happens < 24 hrs. Yes, same goes for covers too.

I found that the stories get approved at around 5 am UTC. I have tested that with two of my stories. There is another time, late in the afternoon, but I never got many readers from it, so I didn't bother to test it. Tony is the only one that approves the stories, so, there may be a change to the schedule, if he doesn't have time.

Just a tip, don't update a story around 5 am. It will get hidden by all the new stories that just got approved. I found that 3 am UTC is a good update time. So are 1 and 2 am. 4 am is ok, but it all depends on whatever the new stories got approved earlier, or during their normal time. Just use scheduled releases, and you will be fine.
