Well a role claim makes sense if someone discovers the bad guy. So it only works after day 2 or 3.

day 1 lynches don’t make much sense, which means mafia gets a free kill.

How do you guys feel about D1 lynch?

Cuz...we would basically allow mafia to kill one of us for free then.
Like, yeah sure, there is higher chance for us to lynch a town, but atleast that gives us more information to work with.

If we opt for a no lynch, them mafia kills someone and we are back on square one on D2.

I can understand why this would be bad, which is why I am asking,

So, we all have to vote right? Should I vote green, Mello, or somebody else? Because, if we try to tie with just Green and Mello, 6/6, one slip and it'l be 7/5, immediately ending the day. It might be better to go for a three way tie, 4/4/4

The chances of getting a non-townies are slim, but the chances of getting a mafia are possible.
No-lynching means a higher percentage of in-game kills are controlled by the mafia.

I suppose there are pretty much little benefits to a Day 1 No-Lynch. We still end up having nothing to go on for voting during Day 2 because of the secrecy of the Mafia Night Kills. What we'll be doing is waiting around until we note scummy activity.
