Ayo, I just made a stupid mistake. I've read through the forum and came across an interesting thread that was about "how to properly paragraphing and dialogue." I found it kinda cool and gave it a try, rewriting my second chapter. I ended up liking that more than my current dialogue style, as mine are filled with words such as said, told and so forth after every dialogue. (It kinda gets annoying when one's chapters are filled with dialogues.)

But I'm now faced with the problem that I gotta edit all of my other chapters to fit the new style. Thinking about that wants me to commit sudoku.

How many chapters/words?
I read that and reworked 25k words, but now that I've reread it again I feel like I might need to rewrite 31k.

Well, if you're going to massively edit, might as well go for a rewrite instead if you really love that story. Include all changes you want to make, plot, characters, etc., improve your writing as a whole. Or like what's said up there, just write something new

You can just continue your story with that 'new style', and write two disclaimers explaining the situation.

One at the end of your latest released chapters to inform your readers, and another one on your novel page in the synopsis. So you can both continue your story and edit your first chapters at your own pace, without having to rush things out.
