Best way to reboot a dead story?

I've got this story I started posting over a year ago. I planned pretty far for it, paid an artist for a decent cover, and even wrote a 41-minute ambient OST album for it since I'm a hobbyist music composer. I ended up quitting it because I found the time loop genre time-consuming to write and plan, which led to me not being able to keep up with my schedule. I want to go back to it though. I'll be fundamentally restarting it from the ground up since I'm a much better writer though. Would it be smartest to just delete the whole thing and restart it as if it was never posted? Can I even do that and get a fresh start?

You got 26 readers to take note of then.

So are you saying that I should reach out to these readers about the rewrite whenever that happens?

Yes. Do an announcement especially for those not following you.

I had liked an author but I did not follow him due to the tendency of him dropping and deleting his works and I missed out when he made a new (and soon to be deleted) work.

Alright, I appreciate it. So there's no real consequence to deleting and restarting fresh? Whenever I start to post again, will it appear again in the latest series tab? It's just that I had weird issues back in the past using RR.
