The artwork of Kentaro Miura from Berserk is way up there for me. The gore never held back, and the beautiful non-gore moments are just plain beautiful. His vision was uniquely his, no restrictions. That's enviable and admirable. Sometimes I feel he was never given enough credit for his range as an artist, but whatever, I'll get angry if I dwell on that too much ?...
