I've been rewriting the early chapters of my stories so that it'd better suit my vision, especially one of my central characters, the problem is its different to conflict with the original, so should i release them as a new story or just re-release the chapters.

same problem having here, so instead of focusing on what about you are worrying, i have decided to first rewrite the entire thing and then decide the rest

The current depictions of my character(The System) isn't head cannon, and my other character(Andrew) isn't fleshed out properly, the problem is, i the author find it difficult to consume my own story, the way it flows, the inconsistencies, the plot, they disturb me.
Only recently have i drawn out a proper plotline, i'm rewriting my story because of all its imperfections, mainly those that irks me.

These situations make me wonder what happened when the chapters were written that so many authors have to rewrite their earlier chapters. I thought they only have grammar problems like me.

Some of us wrote as we went, then reread our work, and realized it was terrible, few place the book in the trash, others rework it to make it match their standards.

The same dilemma here, I've rewritten several of my first chapters and just updated them.

Are they fundamentally different, i mean i have to write an entire new chapter featuring the system that preludes what is currently my first chapter, really have to flesh it out, currently my readers think the system is like those systems you find in most litrpgs, yeah, don't want to depict it as just a tool, after all in my story it is so much more.

Will read your story in a moment, currently busy, i'll give feedback when i do, though i'd appreciate it if you told which chapters you've rewritten.

It'll be my honor if you read it but warning, my chapters are kinda long. I've rewritten the first five chapters, planned to do the same with the other five later chapters but those are ok by now, I'll focus on writing new chapters instead.

And no, they aren't fundamentally different, I rewrote those because my writing skills considerably improved and they looked cringy in retrospect. Added a bunch of stuff and expanded on others, but didn't change anything related to the plot. Since my story doesn't have any hard rules nor a magic system like LitRPGS it was easier for me.

You reread your first chapters?! Sacrileg!

Post it as a new story if you can't connect it to the later chapters. Otherwise I would update the chapters and maybe give a summary for your older readers.

I can find similarities between the two since at the end of the day, they are the same thing, just written differently using a different perspective.
I want Andrew to be Andrew, in the published iteration she feels like some kind of bullshitery anime protagonist, 'happy go lucky retard', who the hell randomly thinks that in real life.
The system feels like a computational antagonist, that doesn't match my head cannon, so i'm fleshing it out.
I mentally cringe when i read the current iteration, if it was someone's else story i would not have read it.
Point is, i'm rewriting my story cause i think it's trash.
TLDR;
Yeah you've got a point, will consider that option. (When i'm done.)

New story. Add a 'Rewrite' somewhere in the title.

You're obviously not satisfied with it so go for a re write. Just tell your readers beforehand. I'm sure they'll support you if it's to improve the story. And you'll probably get more readers when you publish your improved story.

Ok, let me finish my new chapter one (whom purpose is to flesh out The System.), before I release the rewrite.
