Writing Thoughts of an amatuer writer: Should I release everything??

Heyyaa guyss~ just wanted to ask something and I feel like the answer is obvious but... You see Im currently working on two novels in a different account. One of them I'm currently releasing while the other is unpublished and at the draft/editing stage but if I did edit it, and published it, it'll have about 40 chapters already.
Anyways, my question is... Is it better to just work on a novel until it is finished and only then will you publish it??
Or can I just release my chapters slowly while stacking up more??
The problem with withholding until a novel is finished is that, what if the people don't like it?? Sure, I write novels for myself but getting the validation of others is necessary as well. (Especially if I want to make money from it lmao)
As for the second one, the problem that I felt is the pressure. The pressure to release chapters for my readers thereby forcing myself to write.

I love the peace of writing a novel without thinking of releasing it yet, just for myself you know~~ But at the same time I worry that nobody would read it so I felt the need to release it.

I think the answer is a bit of both but I want to hear your opinion especially if you're currently writing a novel.

What are the perks and disadvantages from the two? I think it'll help the others as well so thank you for answering.

The advantage of releasing a novel slowly is its flexibility. It allows you to change the storyline whenever you think of a better one. This can also reduce the plot holes that you might write in your novel. You'll also be able to apply the writing advice your commenters gave you. This way, your improvement will be real-time. That's also the reason why I draft 6-8 chapters ahead while releasing them every other day; once you find something that has to be changed, you can still change it.
Meanwhile, releasing a finished novel wouldn't allow you to do so. Even if you decide to change it, you'll only be able to change a small part of it. If you don't like the development of the story, you'll have no choice but to release it as it is or change the entirety of your story. You wouldn't be able to apply the things that you've earned from others as well.
Lastly, releasing a finished novel do have some advantages. One such advantage is that you'll be able to release it at a consistent rate. You'll have more time for some minor revisions since you'll only have to read it before publishing it to a site
PS: This is completely subjective and based on my experiences, so feel free to read other's answers as well.

Did you outline all? For webnovel you don't have to outline everything but still...Now i plan to stock pile a lot i mean a lot. It depends really

Having a backlog allows you to do two things.
1. Commit to an upload schedule since you can dip into the backlog to make up for days you cant write
2. Put the advanced chapters on Patreon (even as drafts if you want) and make money once the novel gains some traction

There arent really that many advantages to waiting till you have completely finished the novel unless you plan to sell it on kindle unlimited (you will make the most money this way but can't upload it anywhere else and only a full completed version)

I also want to upload my novel which I am currently in a draft form but I'm not afraid to take criticism but afraid that my schedule of uploading may take months since I also have other hobbies and schoolworks.

In my opnion just release your novel whenever you feel like it and don't take too much peer pressure while writing since you might get burned out

I've tried both and I must say I prefer to finish my novel first before publishing it. My pace in writing is inconsistent, but I want to release one chapter per day at a scheduled time, so yeah. When I haven't finished my novel and published it once last year at a different site, I haven't been able to complete (or continue at all) until now.

But that's just me. Do what fits you the most and brings you less pressure.

Basically, you're asking what kind of writer suits you best: a panster or a plotter. Each of them has their advantages and disadvantages, but, as @Minx and @K5Rakitan has said, it'll be up to you.

A plotter, implied in the name itself, is a writer who systematically creates various outlines and character profiles to suit their stories, while a pantser is a writer that writes whatever idea that comes into their head, usually without much consideration of plot holes.

There are a ton of writers, some of which are indie, you can find on youtube and they usually have a video that talks about plotting and pantsing. Here is a good in-depth video on the topic.
