So, what do I do when I get an idea randomly?

Most of the times, I forget it,


But very rarely, I note it down,



What happens when I note it down?
I forget it again!

But very rarely, I don't remember it.


What happens when I remember it?
I realise that the joke/event doesn't fit my current story and I forget it again.


But very rarely.

I find my notes,
And when I look at them, I wonder,
"What even was i thinking here?!"


So, here's the prompt/game, tell me what i meant by the given notes

My story started as a bunch of cool ideas that I later put together, sometimes you get this one fantastic idea and try to adapt it into your story, only to find out it doesn't fit the flow for some reason. I still try not to discard it, at least until I came up with something better or more appropriate.

I wrote down most of them, including dialogue, notepad has been really useful for that. I have tons and tons of .txt documents in my special folder hehe, along with drawings, references and other stuff.

This is obviously a cry for help.
I think the most plausible explanation is that you have a split personality, and the other you is a deeply disturbed entity. It has seen things, dark, terrible things, and it yearns for the sweet release for death.
According to movie logic, it cannot explicitly tell you that it exists or leave any obvious signs, so it had no choice but to improvise.
On a moonless night, as it took control, it infiltrated your notes folder, and wrote down notes that no sane human being would ever consider helpful, so that you would know something is wrong.
Now that you have realized the horror of your subconscious, you need to hurry and find an exorcist to put this tortured soul to rest, before it stops you.
Either that or you forgot to eat some cookies one day and your brain could not function properly without the sustenance of sugary goodness.

I think if you really have the idea either you make a note of it and make a story focusing on it or a nonsense story, or maybe just ignore it and the idea will never came up on your mind again unless you remember it again.

I should do that as well, someday...

I've organized my entire story into a special folder, saving pictures that I thought were cool as references, lots of drawings, pictures of landscapes, lots and lots of dialogue in .txt, famous quotes, you name it.

I daydream a lot and try to imagine my story as if it was an anime. Maybe you can try the same. Hope this helps you

I am positive that line was indeed for peeking at the said forbidden place, I think the joke was to plan to do that, but than MC realises girls don't wear skirts much

I have a lot of these. After the first few times where I was confused from something I wrote, I made sure to include as much context as possible.

A group of (bandits?) called the Back-Scratchers. They live on the back of a giant monster that migrates across the country at random.

Trolls, Hydras, and regeneration.
Monsters that regenerate are often depicted as having a weakness to fire or acid. Wouldn't a smart creature tear off the cauterized or melted flesh to reenable regeneration?

A wendigo skull helmet, like a deer skull at first glance, but with sharp teeth. Might be an oh shit moment to realize that the target is a dark druid. The skull has to be heavily purified to be used, even if your intention is to use it as a component for darker types of magic.

Butterfly familiars who can share vision and some skills. Specialize in survival, with high magic power, speed and defense. The body is blood red, and the wings are bright and beautiful.

Hit someone with the limb of the bow when the tension is released.

If a dryad is a tree spirit, could a dryad possess a plant type monster, Alraune?

Being a fiend sucks. Everybody fears you and expects you to cheat them, your bosses are assholes, and you still have to abide by your contracts.

A random demon or devil is found fleeing for it's life from some crazy yandere human. She's not a mage or a hero. Just a pissed off girl.

Vengeful person gets what they want and becomes a threat to the world, solution is to find the source of its anger.

Dungeon Master makes mannequin type monsters and fights without intelligent allies. Totally insane.
