I had an incident in my kindergarten where some kid stabbed another kid with a rusty box cutter. It was during the science boom in class where everyone wanted to flex their general science knowledge and one kid brought up tetanus. Fortunately, the kid didn't get tetanus, but he had to get stitches.

I didn't see the other kid in class after that.

Between those ages I was never really bullied much. I also went to some crazy hippie holistic Montessori charter school where the answer to every math problem was peace and love. Only things that happened was kids made fun of the freckles which cover most of my face. While they have gone down in shade as I have aged, at the time they were quite dark and contrasted heavily against my otherwise pale skin.

A kid pushed me once on the play yard and I punched him in the face, but that’s as far as things ever went, and the next week we were friendly again. We didn’t even get punished because the Montessori hippie teachers just told us to talk it out with each other.

Edit: just remembered I also got attacked by a ‘unique’ student who tried to bite the back of my neck, but I don’t know if you would consider that bullying.

when I was younger a kid almost strangled me until another kid stopped him. Later in life when I went to a pool I was almost drowned by a kid a few years older than me until i luckily kicked him in the balls so he let go. Btw both of these kids were strangers so it wasn't like a joke gone too far they were actually trying to kill me whether they realized it or not.

I get it now!
So it's not really homicide... that's too extreme...
I guess the right word is 'ignorance'.
I learned something new today, thanks

In my experience, here in PH some kids can punch you, will wait for you at the gate ( you either accept the challenge, think them as a joke that they always like to use or run immediately after the class's over ) , scribble your notes, put some shredded pencil trash on your hair, slide your chair and you bump butt first into the ground.

That's the only thing that I can give you as in my experience in elementary, I see some kids or my classmate do such things or even I, we treat them as a joke as we didn't always cross the line  .

Hope that this can help in you in making a novel of something.

One time, when I was in 2nd grade, I was trying to go down a curly slide. At the same time, some 4th grade boy was climbing up the slide. He seriously threw me off the side of the slide. I was on the upper loop of the curly slide, and I hit my head on the lower loop on the way down.

I also forgot that some kids can give hurtful words on each other saying like "you idiot ( bobo ka ) , motherfucker your actually mama's boy ( tanginamo mamas boy ka pala ), you're adopted ( hindi ka nila tunay na anak ) " though we ignore it. Some kids can't ignore and the punching begin.

We also prank each other like since in the PH, when someone trolls you or prank, the kids either help you or just laugh at you. They either tie your backpack since we used to put them at the back of our seat, hides our belonging ( waterbottle, wallet, cp ) stalls it until the teacher calls everyone and silently put it on one place so that he/she will not be suspected.

Since we are playing reminiscing the shitty times of our childhood, my turn.

I was afraid of bugs, even the printed ones and one time, a boy shoved the insectopedia onto my face. I say shoved, but then it turned into him whacking my face with the thick book because it was fun to him. So I did the next thing I could and almost clawed out his eye and left a scar on his face.

Of course I was the one who got scolded, by the teachers and his rich parents (who also threatened to beat my mother and me) and had to leave the elementary school for good.

Then there were the standard teat twist, wedgies and side poking. If you do it back to the bullies, they would gather up to beat you and oftentimes the teacher would just scold me for "overreacting".

Children don't have the sense of others' personal space and they can tell who is good to fuck with and get away with it.
