'Writing partners' are different from feedback groups.

Oh, I just used the term feedback groups because it's usually writers who go to forums and make groups anyway. I haven't seen a feedback group with readers in it. Anyway, my point still is whatever the term for the group is going to be used, OP needs to lead in making that group because it's the commitment issue that will make or break it. Good for you then that you found someone to make a partnership through all those years.

Yeah, i got lucky. I had partnerships that were much shorter too. Or some ended in "i will never work with you again"

But i do encourage writers to seek out a writing partner.

Are you looking for scehdular communication, like weekly, daily, monthly.
Or free flow / always on call, whenevers?

Free flow definitely. I'm a little pressed for commitment these days so yeah, just someone on the odd-ball time to hit up and discuss sounds like something I could work with.
