I find that I give too much of a shit sometimes and that more than half of my problems stem from caring. After not caring, all my problems went away. I'm fact, I find that in not caring, life became more exciting.

Look at that, there's a kid who wants to be seen as Dreamsexual. You know what? Why not encourage that? I'll keep affirming his beliefs, and watch as both sides mald to prove their point. They might even start a rally or a group, both for and against the idea of identity. A riot might break out, or a bill might be issued in court. They'll scream fascism in the streets, and someone might get shot or killed. It'll become a turning point, and a law gets passed, either for better or worse.

And to think I could've argued about the "principles of biology" or the "standards of society" when I could just nod my head and agree with everything and watch the the phenomenon unfold.

Labels are powerful. Don't deny them. Quench their thirst. Affirm their beliefs. Watch the logical end to their agendas. There's way too little time for us to spend on Earth; it's only reasonable that I want to see as much as possible before I go.

You are a woman. You are a bi-lesbian. You are a demigender. You are plant-dragon-kin. You are Dreamsexual.

You are valid.

I love you for that.

Now go on, Johnny.

Show the world what you're made of.

In return, just let me watch in the sidelines.

Pretty sure it's more like the parent being too busy with life, and leaving them to the ipad and tv where they look for identity in people like Idubbz. Like why are you looking for identity in Idubbz!?
Putting anyone on a pedestal is a terrible idea it is a way to make yourself disappointed because you're putting absolute faith in those that are still able to make mistakes. Unfortunately, many people don't realize this then some time down the line people's opinion of their idol sours and eventually flips to disliking them or even hatred because of an action or multitude of actions, or maybe their idol did a complete 180. Your mentioning of Idubbbz is a good example of how his own fanbase flipped on him when his whole controversy went down.

If I had a child obsessed with Dream, or Idubbz, or K-Pop, I'd probably smack them.

Let people enjoy things. If they enjoy their labels, let them do it.
Sure. The problem is when others attempt to force you into accepting and identifying them as "insert whatever label/pronoun" and then try and shame you for not doing it. Believe as you want, but keep it to yourself and whoever supports you. No one has to cater to you. "Being polite" is just translation for "Do as I say or be punished for hurting my fee-fee's." I hate those people and wish nothing but harm upon them. Some of the largest arguments I've had is because I refused to be forced to act against my beliefs/principles and people tried to shame me into compliance. No. Do as you want if it makes you happy, but piss off trying to rope me into it with you. If I don't agree with it, then I won't, and nothing says I have to. Some of my best moments in University was riling those kinds of people up in Public Speaking classes (an elective class that became mandatory for some reason) because they thought I could be intimidated into compliance.

Call yourself whatever made-up sexuality/gender/etc. of the day you want, that's your right. It's also my right to be amused by you, then ignore you and your demands because I don't believe in it and consider it nonsense. I won't go out of my way to attack or demean your beliefs, but don't you dare ask me my opinion and then whine when it isn't what you wanted and/or expected.

Used to, people could agree to disagree and just walk away from eachother. Now everyone wants obedience or else.
Because their parents didn't love them enough to smack them around for being stupid little shits. Personally, I see it as the epitome of privilege. I WISH I could live a life so comfortable I could go on the internet and bitch about it in public.
Exactly. The only people who can cry about this gender/race/sexuality nonsense are also the same people who have plenty of free time. A good chunk of them are teenagers, and/or unemployed adults. Many others are just in it for the brownie points they can earn socially. I'm sure their are others outside of these brackets, but I daresay they are a minority and they also aren't the ones screeching on various social media sites. My work has me travel alot, and its amusing that most of this bullshit, is purely American. I've been all around Europe and East Asia, and it just isn't as widespread there, not even close. Barely noticeable.

America leads the world in absurdities.

A lot of outright bigotry in this thread.

Also, speaking of hitting your children as if child abuse is OK and good is reprehensible and not admirable.

Finally:

11. Threads and posts related to religion and politics are banned. The topic is too volatile.

This is ALL politics at this point, with some religion thrown in.

Lol bigotry. You mean not doing as you want them to do?
You mean them not thinking and believing as you want them to?
You mean you not being mature enough to go your own way and stop trying to enforce your way of thinking on others?
You mean you not being mature enough to accept a differing opinion?
Tell me you have a twitter account without telling me you have a twitter account :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Tell me how much of a " such a hero, oh wow so brave and courageous" you are because you stood up to the big bad bigot :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Ooops...I might get "cancelled" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Guess I have to get on youtube and make a half-hour-long video apologizing for not submitting to my libby overlords and how I'm so terribly sorry I dared to have a different opinion from the groupthink.

edit: Should've waited for Discount. He shits on these types better than I ever could.

Confused about the K-pop thing. Never listened to it, but it's pretty popular in America so I can't say I'd hate having my kid listen to it. And besides, its South Korean, so it can't be too bad. I'd only be concerned if it was some new American-specific trendy thing. Discount's right, America does lead the way in crazy crap.

I said if my kid listened to K-pop, I'd smack them. This is a Johnny Cash and Alstroameria Records household.

I will in fact smack a child if they do some stupid shit. Some of them need to be smacked. Every child on TikTok, Furaffinity, and Twitter, I can confirm, was not smacked hard enough as a child. I'm not saying go Mike Tyson on your kid, I'm saying a goof backhand to physically discourage stupid behavior might help.

It's the height of privilege to think you can go through life and never once invite a good smacking around for the things you say and do.

Johnny Cash
My apologies. I didn't know (y) K-Pop is the lesser evil here tho.

Also, no idea what Alstroameria is.

Pretty sure that's what the TikTok and Twitter kids need, and I still doubt that would be enough to save them from themselves.

So basically near every kid of the TikTok and Twitter generation. Check. Also explains most of the crap that passes for "causes" nowadays.

One of them Seattle, Milwaukee, or Portland kids. Bet she thought it was "peaceful protesting".

Just looked up Alstroameria and ew, never could get into that kind of music. To me, its almost as bad as listening to people who can't sing try and cover that up with autotune. Not quite as bad, but almost. Good thing I never heard of them before now.

That's fine. I like it because my brain is rotten from Touhou.

But at least I don't like K-pop

Never listened to K-Pop. But I know many people that have and love it. Even some of the ghettoest ass dudes I know, I've caught them playing it on low volume in their homes. It's an invasion lol
