How do you contact with your readers? Which method is better? What are the advantages/disadvantages?

Who sees/gets notified whey you post a message on your profile page? Just your Followers or readers of your Series?

Any other methods you know of?

Actually, when you ask that, how do you guys contact your readers to become beta readers? I’ve heard a ton do that but I don’t get how they can contact each other and stuff

Well, excellent question. Count me in. I want an answer to that question too.

To say something directly - Author Notes, and sometimes profile posts. But I tend to reply to most of the comments and discord convos as well. Especially If i need to talk to a specific reader instead of all of them

Who sees profile posts? Just the followers or readers as well? Do they get notifications?

I believe the followers see it as notifications. In my case, I had a rather set schedule with weekly chapters on a specific day and hour. So when I was a few hours late I could easily post on my profile instead of dropping a fake chapter. So that when my readers would check for the expected update at least they could easily find the heads up notice.

I mostly use author notes and comments to interact with my readers. Well, I use profile posts too but I have very little followers, so I don't post much on that.
