Original Name: Kgu Record

Descriptions from Glossary:
A collection of stories and knowleges that has been recorded, encrypted and preserved by the Kgu on a glass cylinder in the form of an audiovisual recording with documents inscribed from a group of ancient languages called LCA (Lost Codes of the Ancient). It has a holographic function. This artifact is heavily enchanted with illusion and offensive magic to ward off unwanted thieves and unauthorized non-Kgu members. Only a Kgu, who possess the marks of Soletrion, Aifnulyon, or Aeon Circle can access and extract the information from this artifact and grant authority to non-Kgu members for a limited period of time.

Inventor: Non-human deities (Semi-amoebic beings)

Issue: Just realized and now I'm not so sure about what to exactly call it. It can't be a codex, book, or a scroll because it was never made out of paper or parchment. The device does not use a disc or a vinyl tape either, so it can't be called a CD, DVD, or cassette. So I am stumped.

Maybe a drum, as used in a music box:
