Depends, I somehow imagine @K5Rakitan doesn't know how to bake pies
Are you kidding? Making pies is my assignment for Thanskgiving and Christmas. We're always trying a different pecan pie recipe because my dad can't have sugar. Last year, I spent an hour stirring a erythritol syrup to get it to just the right consistency and level of caramelization. That was an especially exhausting thing to do while pregnant. This year, my mom held my baby while my baby watched me make three pie crusts.

I also make cranberry relish from whole cranberries and oranges. We don't do that can thing in our household.

Oh my, that's so amazing. I didn't knew people still made pies due to how long it takes to bake them.

Idk if my definition of "long" is different than yours but I don't think a baking time of under 1h is particularly long. At least that's not enough to stop me. :blob_evil_two:
Though I am sometimes reluctant to make jerky, 8+ hours is pretty fking long after all.

It's the preparation, not the actual baking, that's the issue. Once it is in the oven, you're free to go do other things. You don't have to sit in front of the oven watching the seconds tick by. However, if you're baking a turkey or ham or something, it helps to bake the pies the night before.

Now I feel guilty for how innocent it's gotten

True. But depending on what kind of pie you make the preparations can be done pretty quickly too imo. Now I'm not too sure what the difference between pie and cake is, but I think I mostly make cakes. If I buy the "ground", all I need to make is some cream and fruits or whatever and stack it all. That's like 30 mins of work + 45 min of posting stuff on here while baking.
Well, either way since I live alone every pie or cake or whatever I make lasts half a decade. :blob_whistle: I don't know how willing I would be to repeat that if I only got a slice or two each time lol

If pies are the doughier ones, then yeah, those can take a few hours of preparations sometimes... Well I don't enjoy most of them too much either way

Yes, I'm too lazy to google the proper English words so this is what you get :blob_sweat:

Well, you could write a poem about cream pies for my Lewd Poems collection. You could write about smearing pie on someone's naked body and licking it off.
I wish I could also make one. I've tried thinking of something but my brain just isn't cut out for poems :( Maybe one day I'll be inspired by something...

Edit: My favorites are: Lime/Lemon pie, cheesecake, coconut creampie, strawberry pie, that one that's kind of crispy, classic german bee sting cake, and idk what its called but carrot walnut dry cake(?). some of those take me a total of 30 min preparation and some like 3-4 hours.
Some of them have cake in the name but when I look up pies they are also listed there so idk...
