There are number of powerful artifacts in my story, but the one I fancy the most would probably be the Angelic Alliance. It's a sentient flamberge that would lull their wielder into a dream-like state as the weapon takes direct control of the body. Basically, the weapon is a body snatcher. Considered a holy sword by nature, since the blade was forged using multiple Seraphim as its core, it can grant a number of powers and buffs to its wielder. Can easily turn an average man into a Demi-God at the cost of their body and mind.

For me, one of the most exciting parts of a story (if it isn't a no combat book) is weapons. Especially the weapons that I can consider as most or one of the most powerful ones.

Because of that, I want to learn what my fellow writers created as their ultimate weapons. (If you don't write or have a favorite ultimate weapon from a book published by somebody else, I want to know that as well, please share it!)

And here's the very amateur painting done by me.

A Magical Crystal based orbital cannon! While I am still very far away on my story to add this bad boy into my mc's arsenal. It is on my road map and marked as must be added to the novel.

This thing is charged by the radioactive rays released from the sun (from the purple two crystals) and fired by mages stationed at the gray parts.

While people can use it for destruction, it is a deposit of magic, and experienced mages can use the stored mana to their will.

For example: Creating barriers for the protection of armies and cities or dumping all of the mana stored inside and causing the magic-sensitive creatures (mages, magical beasts, etc.) to die from mana overdose.

It also serves as a space station and can be used for experiments that can cause massive destruction to the planet.
One of my novels has a literal Antimatter Bomb that obliterates 30% of the planet. On accident...

Items that go against the natural laws of given universe in which they reside. A rather simple idea, but with many complex implementations.

To further expound they're really just tools, objects or weapons that don't follow typical cause and effect purely because they adhere to a different understanding of it. To exemplify would be and Item mentioned in my work that is a dagger that induces schizophrenia on its wielder, but also dulls all the sounds they produce. Logically speaking it makes no sense for the dagger to be capable of these feats, it makes even less sense if I were to tell you it is by inducing psychosis that the blade can also grant it's beneficial effects. However, that is by using the logic of how cause and effect works in our universe. Of course I should further mention that this is likely considered to be close to para-causal and not definitely not a-causal.

A mass-produced warp warhead.
It's just nuclear missiles but utilise an advanced form of warp technology of galactic warships. Essentially the missiles can be warped into any place including inside a ship's shield. Due to its being very advanced warp tech, normal anti-warp device wouldn't be able to block the missiles from teleporting inside the shield.

Although nuke is not very potent, my man has a quantum matter-energy generator that can create matter and energy from nothing allowing him to amass whatever amount of nuke he can. He can literally trivialise Type-3 civilization by unleashing nukes like bullet from miniguns.

Wait, wait for second. I play a game that literally has the this item with the same name as the ultimate weapon.

I haven’t yet designed any uberpowerful weapons, but I do have an idea for one. To understand it I will need to do some world building.
1. Mana, Qi, Souls, the Elements, etc. are made from a substance called Aether.
2. There are ever present magic fields for each type of energy. Each have their own particles and rules.
3. This story takes place on a plane, in this world you can imagine planes like nesting dolls. But instead of planes being 1-1 they are more akin to 1-1x10^99999999. Beings from a higher plane can not easily move into a smaller plane, and beings from lower planes can more easily go up a plane. Both though are nigh impossible.
4. The space in between neighboring planes is called the void.
5. Smaller planes then the current one can only have 3 things in it. Space-time, matter, and a single magic field.
6. These smaller planes make up all the magic energy in the larger planes. The planes are the magic particles.
7. Aether is made from a group of smaller planes, which will then merge to create the desired magic.
8. It is unknown if planes are the origin of matter.
9. The smallest of magic particles made up from 1000 planes with matching energy. They are held together by the strong planer force. At this level, similar planes who do not belong to a particle, will be attracted to each other. They might repeal dissimilar planes.
10. Stars can be massive enough to fuse opposing planes into a particle. This, on top of standard physic, is what fuels stars.
So basically imagine a fusion bomb, and how it works, and then imagine that it is fueled by the fusion of smaller universes, + conflicting magic that wants to repel eachother.

Yeeeee. Heroes of Might of Magic 3. I love that game. I liked a lot of those magic items that they had in that game. It was fun.

Dragons using their extradimensional storage to carry thermonuclear weapons with magically enhanced nuclear capture cross-sections.
Or mabye we'll go with the Hawking Bomb?

My most OP weapons are mostly used for comic relief. One is a multifunctional gunblade that has like 151 or so modes going from gun and blade to drill, baseball bat and shield ending in modes like nuclear powered long distance sniping with enough power to blow up a mountain or two.

Next one is a levitating cristal orb that collects regretful souls as fuel for a summoning that grants them a chance to remove their regrets.

Oh and your classical flying castle loaded with death star laser and a army of artificial angels ready to helidrop on anything.

My villains only get the classical boring hero weapons, tho.

every weapon works differently under many circumstances but for the most part

this reigns supreme
Indeed a good hefty club is always useful.
But on a serious note, for the weapon Nanites.

In Saga of the Cosmic Heroes, there's a thermonuclear warhead simply called the 'G-bomb' that's about several hundred times deadlier than even our modern Tsar Bomba—the series takes place in roughly the 29/30th century. They were used extensively in the last stages of a global war in the 25th century and wiped out most civilizations in regions other than SEA and Australia. The saturated use of G-Bombs permanently rendered once hospitable land into utterly sterile sand salt deserts, along with certain other anomaly changes in those effected regions. Efforts to reverse the effects with the use of terraforming devices failed, leading the reformed Federation to look outward and colonize the Orion Arm.

By the time the story starts, what remains of the G-bomb stockpiles are kept under lock and key and prohibited by the Federation, since they're not normally something you can simply dispose of so easily. Elements of them are included in certain nerve gas agents and the Federation doesn't shy away from using thermonuclear missiles as a standard permanent for their missile spam doctrine, but not necessarily as potent as the G-bomb variant.

Later on, in the story, there's laser beam spam and a massive laser cannon made from a colony's chasis and solar ray panels.
