Now I was off the toilet thinking being generally lazy when something hit me, sex... jokes. I never really see it in web novels or I'm just an idiot but I never see sex jokes in a smut web novel while it's everywhere in a adult cartoons, so like do people not just think of it? Is it not on your minds when writing? Is it frowned upon on this glorious smutty site?
I need to know these things. Now I don't have a problem with sex jokes but It's pretty obvious to see when a writer is forcing it in the story especially when there's no need to.
So if some dumb force over took you an you decided to write sex jokes into your story how will you go about it?
I personally won't consciously put in there but all the slutty perverted characters with sexual innuendo's I have it might be unavoidable that one of their remarks might come out as a dirty joke.

Since my sense of humour is one-note and dry, I can sort of easily wave it off as a throwaway line that doesn't linger, since there's no build-up and the punchline is given as it is. Sometimes there'll be contextual jokes but most of the time it's a "I'll suck your dick" type banter between mates.

Considering sex jokes are forced in the first place... it'd be natural for them to feel that way.
There's an Elf in my story that cracks sex jokes sometimes, and I hope they're funny but I know they're not really that funny. I hope I get readers to exhale through their noses when they read them.... I'd be satisfied with that.

it varies between people but sex jokes, i feel they're BEST DELIVERED without fanfare. let it lay stripped and bare as the readers go through it. don't even have any build-up or punchline to it. just have a character belt out a throwaway line. don't even let the other characters react. have it go past and leave the readers in a tailspin going like:
