I took a licensing exam today, and ever since I started writing, well... :sweating_profusely:

I noticed so many errors in the goddamn questions that it made me go like who the heck is writing these things?!?:blob_catflip:

Has that happened to anyone else? Like... if it's an important test, you know that kinda defines if you get a job or not. I think in those times people should write their shit correctly, right? Easy to read, and stuff. Avoid confusion and double-takes.

Having to double-take because I go wtf... It's not fun while you are on the timed test with 177 questions. Like the original exam is in Spanish, but if you are going to have an English version, at least have someone with decent grammar write/translate it! Don't go to google translate for that stupid exam makers! :blob_catflip:

Heheh... After that vent, has it happened to anyone? Doing something important or not that important and that makes you go wtf am I reading?

Surely, I feel like my writing has made me more aware of these things.:sweating_profusely::blob_hide:

*No tables were hurt in the making of this post. Or in this case computers.*?

You should have seen a police witness report the guy interrogating me wrote based on my testimony some time ago; not only there was no punctuation and constant repetitions, there were also literal typos that I underlined after reading it and told him to fix

:blob_happy:Oh, god! You made me laugh. I wish I could do that to the nursing testing department!
You see here and here? These make the question unreadable!

Yeah, I left a few embarrassing errors in the first novels I edited, but that was before I got a program that reads aloud to me.

The only people who check to see if test and exams for mistakes are primary school, junior school, elementary school, grade school or schools for little kiddies what ever you like to call them. Once you get up to higher levels they just don't care.
The handwriting of teachers get progressively worse as you get deeper into the education system.
It gets so bad that during one of my uni exams, they had spelt cognition wrong in a psychology exam. Let's not even mention the how they labeled the multiple choice answer to one of the question E F G H, when the fill in the bubble only has A B C D.
Edit
It's not like I'm complaining or anything, but it has just become a joke to me at this point.

Oh god, lol that is so true sadly. They just don't care. Which is so sad. Like half of those questions are badly composed and leaves the person not knowing what is being asked. You'd think in college they would be more thorough, but they aren't. :sweating_profusely:

Though having E F G H as answers is hilarious too. :blob_happy:

Heheh, but I wished for licensing exams such as RN, Law, Pharmacology, heck, even Doctor exams have these things. And that should be unacceptable.:blob_catflip: Especially when you pay to take the damn thing.:sweating_profusely:

I had something similar not long ago. Most of the subjects I take are technical; however, there is the occasional general course such as Ethics. There are about 150 repeatable questions, all of which could be answered logically. The final consisted of a 100 of those, but they were so unintelligibly altered, I could barely understand half of them.

That was me today. I felt like I was reading a foreign language. :blob_hide:
