As a baby in a Isekai forest, how would you survive?

Your baby body is useless, except for its INT and its average level (both of them thanks to your previous life).

Fortunately, there is a point-based shop in the system.

You only have enough points to buy one of the skills that don't need MP (your baby body only has 1 MP).

And they are...

1. Monster tamer
Tame monsters and they will receive a boost based in your INT (your level will be linked to each other)
A blue slime will appear to protect you.

2. Druid whisper
The ability to control weeds and vines at will, their power will be 25 % of your INT.

3. Tunneler
You can dig into any surface just by touching it (you will be propelled in that direction)
75 % of your INT as power, usable underwater.

4. Tentacle user
You can summon two tentacles the size of your legs at will.
In your body its power will be 100% of your INT, but it will decrease drastically with summoning distance.

1. How do we tame monsters? Like a normal human or do we have to succeed on an INT roll? Cause I don't see how a baby can tame sh*t, the blue slime seems pretty good though.

Useless outside of a forest, but it has potential but I think I like not overunning civilization with trees.

I don't quite understand this? I have a feeling I'll just die immediately via suffocation or smashing myself into a tree or rock

I would choose 1 or 4 because i don't wanna starve to death and these two seem like the best bet for nutrients.

I am half suspecting the OP might be watching my Key to the Void series very closely because with the exception of the tentacle power (and the demon king and gods of reincarnation bit) this is almost an exact summary of the scenario I have set up for my own characters.

(Well, the druid child was born as an elf to elven parents, the one with tunneling powers is a gnome, and the animal taming power comes from a bloodline of a nomadic tribe of humans who have this power.)

EDIT: The real crazy part is it's only a couple weeks ago I introduced the Hidan riders (the animal tamers) and the gnomes were only talked about in my "sister of a goddess" series which was something of a trial-run for "Key to the Void." (Or rather, key to the void is the re-named hard reboot of the series.) So, this OP would have to have been paying REALLY close attention if this is what actually inspired this thread. (Although occam's razor suggests it's more likely just an insane coincidence.)

Dunno, I think druid should control both plants and animals, tentacles are overused as hell, thus the choices are somewhat bland. As for getting high, I'm not a fan of weed, alcohol, and nicotine.

druids usually can control both, yeah. But I'm not gonna nitpick. ARE tentacles overused? Maybe in hentai. But otherwise, as something that can be used to attack? Dunno, I'm mainly thinking Tokyo Ghoul when i think of tentacles.

Okay, the last one is just a bit of my culture leaking out but using tentacles is kinda broken as it could do multiple stuff such as being able to protect yourself from danger, weaponizing it with poison and stuff and even train to become your extra limbs just in case of emergency. Oh, and did I mention you can tentacle girls as well?

1 monster tamer? How to tame? It's not like it's a 100% guarantee that you would tame them(whatever they are) and a slime? How would it being you food? Water?
2 tunneling? It's out from the start why? Because in the description it says touching is required, not to mention, as a baby, how can you stop the propulsion? Physics kill you here.
3 Tentacles....hello civilization? I'm writing to you outside your walls again today, maybe tomorrow I'll be able to rejoin my people again.
This is a trap choice, you may survive as baby but it doesn't say you can retract them so the chances you can put them away, the chances you can join others,
the chances you aren't prosecuted by others. Very slim basically nil.

Or you better hope the druid can give you baby safe fruit or can take you to the edge of a settlement.

Train my body? One doesn't mostly rely on one part of a body as everything can be weaponize. Tentacles are just one part that can be trained as well as the body as well. By the time the Tentacles have a problem, the body will be fully developed to its core that even if it became useless, it serve its purpose.
