Huh? You already surpassed Raki-tan and the Squid? That's honestly pretty impressive, I thought they had more likes.

... People in Scribbly's non-game threads are really stingy with likes, geez. I thought the people at Novel General at NUF were stingy, but Scribbly's non-game non-profile sections are in a whole nother level of stinginess. I can hardly believe they're this low in reacts
It is not that peeps in novel general are stingy, it is that peeps in community games and profile post distribute likes like candies.
Go to the community games subforum.

On the left of the thread's name, you should see a circle with Ohko's avi within it, and another small circle with your avi right next to it.

Hover your mouse over your avatar in that screen and it should show how many messages you have in that thread.

If this wasn't clear, I'll show you a screenshot once I'm back on pc (currently on phone).
8 in freestyle, 178 in ooc

I'm also thinking about making a new character myself... I wanna do a bit more with Ilya, but she's not very suited to AGSA's structure due to how reliant she is on interactions with others to do anything... And well, with the lack of a tavern that goes beyond time-space, and with butterfly not being that active, and Freestyle being location dependent... Her uses are kinda limited... >.>

So well, I'm thinking of finishing her story soonish, but I wanna do a bit more with her before that~

As for what the character will do... I dunno? Maybe try searching for some ideas by looking at images? They can make some pretty good character concepts by themselves and give you a gist of what you wanna do with the character~

Like, here is the one I'm thinking about using next:

There are definitely plenty of ideas I can think of while working with a character that has a demon hand that is bigger than her~ *giggles*

And they 100% don't involve being possessed and losing control over her body, her mind and the like, no no, absolutely not, I'm 100% not thinking of making a character that will suffer a lot~ *whiiiiiiiiistles*

So yeah, I kinda found a pic that gave me a character concept and basic idea for where to take character perchance... Maybe you might find one that gives you some ideas too~
How about genderbent Issei? >.>

Did you see the post count of Raki-tan before saying that...? o.0

People here are stingy... Like, sure, games/profiles give way more likes, but the rest of the sections really give way too little in Scribbly... >.>

In NUF you can at least get some decent like count by shitposting in general, but not even this works here... >.>
How about genderbent Issei? >.>
*googles Issei*

Mmmmmmmm... I have seen this somewhere before... *ponders*

Ah, good old PS1 memories, how time flies~

Anyways, Issei is a teenager, I'm not particularly interested in RPing with a teenager protagonist atm... So no.

Also, I'm not really fond of the genderbent designs of him... So that's a double no~

Speaking of which, is it possible to incorporate cyberpunk elements into this world?
I think the setting is more for steampunk and magic than cyberpunk in terms of technology.
It was mentioned to not cause a revolution in the technology, if I recall.

Unfortunately, we actually have kinda serious plots this time round, and coupled with the inherently slow pace means less time to go out of one's way to interact with a random blind fairy, especially when it could lead to a huge tangent that could form it's own storyline, so yeah...

This character does look interesting and looks like a more active actor, which is probably more conducive to plotting in this environment. I got the impression that you just wanted some casual, non-serious RP with Ilya, but welp!

The main requirement is that any technology that is added shouldn't make any older technology obsolete.

Basically, you can add machine guns as long as there's a good reason why it's not superior to knights on horses in a lot of places.

Right, and doesn't cyberpunk include a lot of electrical things? So if things like floating cars, futurist weapons are suddenly in SA what use does everybody have for magic? Don't forget that only 10% of Sky Archipelago can only use magic. I'm not saying magic would cease to exist entirely just that cyberpunk elements would revolutionize SA.

A big difference between the two genres is that cyberpunk is about the future that may be, while steampunk is about the past that could have been. ... Cyberpunk is often described as "high tech and low life." Steampunk, on the other hand, usually deals with the opposite: low tech and high morals.
