i'm about to post on Tapas. what should i know about that site?

A good thing is, the standard for action is veryyyyyyyy low. Like, I haven't seen anything else than generic action there, the kind where MC is OP but can't use his powers to preserve a secret/promise he made.

It's just after pride month, so you'll be seeing a lot of LGBT. Earlier january-february was Action/Fantasy.
The best hope of gaining traffic there is to somehow get to Novel Staff Picks. Expect that there won't be much traffic if it's not a comic.
Oh, and add romance to your tags lmao.

And people there prefer short chapters. Like real short. 600-800 words like.
I'm at more or less 1000 with each.

They have pretty open culture over there. Ai-chan's The Hounds of Hell is an incest tragedy that originated there. But novels do not really take off. To them, novels are just 'added feature' and almost their entire focus is on comics. You can think of it as something like novel is the orphan kid who is not abused, but treated like air most of the time.

It's corporate. It's a business. If you're not there for business purposes, forget it, you'll never be found because their only priority is to make money. Only the popular stuff gets attention because that's what makes them money.

It's also mainly focused on webtoons. If you want to make a webnovel there, be prepared to do your own marketing.

Their community is far inferior to Scribble Hub's as well. Nothing but pandering and spamming. I swear they're racist against white people.

In other words, just mirror your story there but don't depend on it.
