Okay. This actually happen while reading novel and this annoying kid came and started talking anime with me again. The same as usual.

Yet, he began asking about some relationship advice and since he would leave if I answered, I just let him talk.
Now, his relationship is complicated and he acts kinda like an protagonist in a romance novel. He has a best friend and the girl who would cause a rift in their relationship. His friend, likes this girl but this girl likes the the guy in question. To lessen the complication....

Annoying kid - Boy A
Best Friend - Boy B
The girl would just be girl.

Now, what happen was the girl either acted tsundere or she was actually interested in Boy B but slowly develop her feelings to Boy A and decided that she love Boy A. Boy A is like a usual protag but doesn't even understand why the girl likes her or that he doesn't really understand much in terms of their relationship until the end.

Yet, before they got into their second year in college, the girl confess her feelings to the guy and promply rejected her. While he did have fondness of her, he doesn't really know what to do in the situation and even if they did start dating, they don't even know if they would work out or not.

The girl who just got rejected cried and left, Boy B followed suit and their relationship bloomed and they became a couple.

In truth, Boy B was actually in love with her but was jealous of Boy A and when he rejected her, he quickly soothe her they and got together in the end.

Boy A was at first felt surprise and when they finally started dating, he actually knew that he had liked her but was so confused about what to do.

Boy B saw this situation and felt anger since he knew that while the girl and him are now dating, the girl still has feelings for Boy A and he began to talk some sense into Boy A and felt threatened that Boy A might ruined their relationship once more.

Boy A while confused, knew that if he were to stay, he would make their relationship complicated or even broke up and decided to leave while waving the girl goodbye while Boy B got angry that he threatened to kill Boy A to not get close to his girl.

What happen next actually turned more like a soap opera as the next day, Boy A got into an accident with his cousin and his was sent to a hospital. Boy B and the girl were shocked but felt guilty about what happened with Boy A and decided to apologize to Boy A when he comes back. However, it was actually the last day they knew of Boy A.

After coming back to class, Boy A was confused and got inside his class as Boy B began to greet him to which Boy A responded:

"Who are you?"

What happened to Boy A was that when he got into an accident, he had hit himself in the head so hard that he had developed Amnesia and had forgotten who he was.

The doctor says that his memory would come back but it might take sometime so Boy A was just a husk of himself at the moment and Boy B and the girl started to cry while Boy B tried smaking his head to return to his senses.

In the end, he didn't remember and their lives continue on, without Boy A remembering who he was in the past.

They tried to help him grow his memory back as they tried everything to make him remember but it was futile as Boy A treated the girl to a meal to which she was happy at first before crying in the end.

As they tried to cure him, Covid had happened and they all got separated to which Boy A just reclaimed his memories after the lockdown had just happened.

After what happened, he told me that he was messaged by his best friend and the girl to which they got married and even had a kid and had told me about his situation with the girl who still like him till this day.

There, my advice I gave him is that...
I first talk to him about my experience with my crush and how it relates to his experiences with their love triangle as when we are kids, we do stupid stuff.

I fell in love with my cousin and started stalking her since I was too nervous to even talk to her that in the end of my protagonist journey(some girls had fallen in love with me, how I fallen in love with my cousin and even my embarrassing stories with her) I just took too long to confess my feelings and ended up not getting the confession I wanted and promply just had to forget it happened and embrace it like a memory left to be kept instead.

Now, I told him that it wasn't his fault that his love didn't happen because he is just a bit immature at that time and he didn't understand since he was too confused and choked up at the crowd staring at him while the girl confess to him.

I also explain the minds of the boy and the girl in their own perspective to let him understand how their relationship got there and let him understand that it was just circumstances after circumstances.

Plus, he didn't even knew if the girl liked him at that time and thought he was just thinking that he was a good friend and to not hurt his feelings, let him know that while he regretted his decision, he knew that he made the right choice of leaving when the boy got angry at him and his love was just going to cause more pain in their relationship.

At the end, when the girl thinks she still loves the boy, I told him that he shouldn't hesitate to say that she had to give up on him and only complicate their relationship again. Even if you did have your memory back, you'll just hurt the girl in the end.

I continue explaining how psychology works, how I have short term memory and understand what having Amnesia is like(since I tend to blank out at times and even forgot who I am), told him that he shouldn't complicate their relationship anymore and even fix his relationship with his friend again.

I added more explaination to make him understand since he tends to blank out at times but he finally got it and left me.

TL;DR - My boy got himself in a love triangle of a girl liking him, his friend got jealous but get the girl in the end, even marrying and having a kid with her, how he got amnesia and had his memories back after covid happened and after a year, the girl still wants him back.

I gave an advice of how he shouldn't blame himself about why it happened as he was just confused, how he shouldn't regret just falling in love with the girl after she and his friend started going out and how he should tell the girl at the end to give up on him since she now has a family with the guy and shouldn't ruin it just for a simple love that was forgotten after the amnesia.

I think thats about it and thought that my mediocre relationship about just a guy chasing a girl shouldn't give an advice to a guy who has a complicated relationship like solving a rubix puzzle when I can't even solve the second color.

Please give your input about this since I fear that I might've given the wrong advice to the guy and didn't know if there were contradictions to the advice I gave.

I do not believe this happened. So cliche I wasn't even able to read all of it. :)
B-but.... I even made the TLDR just in case of people with short attention span would get it...

Plus, while it is cliche, its still as believable as me getting a harem, having a fued with a tsundere and even escape death against Truck-kun...

It's not about the attention span... It's about how ridiculous and unbelievable the whole thing seems to be. I can't just post here about how I got isekaied last week, fought the evil humans who threatened the poor demons, married with a half-dragon-half-elf-quarter-part-succubus princess with big boobs, and expect people to believe me. Even if that WAS real, I wouldn't expect to be believed.

At most you could have said that that's what you would advise the protagonist if you were there.

Practical knowledge has nothing to do with whether advice in a subject can be useful or not. You dont have to have exact experience to understand logical solutions to problems.
You gave the most reasonable advice. Dont worry about it.

He shouldnt have any bitter feelings anyway. It was his own fault for missing the opportunity, is just a good thing he didnt end up a home wrecker.

Bro weirder shit has happened in life. Does all the time. People always go "next time on things that never happened " and I always find it annoying because MAYBE it didnt happen to that person specifically but I bet my left nut that exact situation HAS happened to SOMEONE before.

How do you think things even become a cliche, my dude? Because they happen SO OFTEN that they become overused and unoriginal.

Correction. They happen SO OFTEN IN FICTION, NOT IN REALITY that they become overused and unoriginal. But you have a point. From how many people are on earth, there should be one who got this happening to him. BUT just because it has a minuscule chance of happening doesn't make this post less doubtful. It is still ridiculously novel.

I agree. It does mainly happens in stories. I just wont be too doubtful because I've heard all this type of stuff before even outside of stories.
Shit is just improbable.

I dont have a reason to doubt or believe, but stuff like this has likely happened...be weird if it hadn't...so I'm more inclined to just give the benefit of the doubt. Not my business to care if the dude was just making up a good tale

I don't really think he was bitter, morelike confused since at first he felt a bit fond of her, which kinda turned to love and after he got his accident, the girl became more persistent to make him remember, such as his best friend who wanted to apologize to him.

Also, It was really a hot day and I was a bit too heated to think properly. Like, I was relaxing by the fan and he came out of nowhere to tell me this kind of story.

Because he was like a protagonist like me, I kinda wanted to help him out and his story was a bit confusing trying to piece together like a jigsaw puzzle but using hair pullers without being given a magnifying glass to see the story clearly.

One side was trying to solve his problem while the other was like 'Ah sht dude! I can make this into a story or some sht' and really fried my brain in a hot day.

lol looks like that guy dodged a bullet. If she is willing to break up her family for a guy then she is the lowest of the low. There is a special place in hell for women that act like this.

Got tired of this melodrama halfway.
Conclusion: Boy A is an idiot, Boy B is a jerk, Girl is a slut.

PS: I tried reading a bit more, but this sounds more fake than a cliche isekai story.

So you are telling me that Boy B tried to hit the head of Boy A while Boy A had retrograde amnesia as a result of head trauma? Does he think his "friend" is an old TV or something?
New conclusion: Boy A is an idiot and probably a liar. The story is just too fake. Boy B is a jerk and just as stupid as Boy A. Girl is still a slut.

Thats kinda why I gave him the advice that he should had told her to give up on him. I may hate the kid for being annoying but being prick isn't something I don't agree on being.

When people think that his story is kinda BS, it actually ricochets back into me like a magnet as mine is as ridiculous as he has(Note to self: Never bring up my life story here or they think I'm talking BS even its actually true and had happened.)

Yeah.... He was too stupid for his actions but I think god maybe favored him since if he did date that girl, I think his situation might had been a bit worse(he also had a story of a girl whose also persistent and managed to track his place down one time where he hid at my store and I was like 'Heyo bro, you trynna get me killed too?!') so I was a bit glad that he kinda dodge a bullet there and I gave a pretty good advice.

The only reason I was asking about this was that I was kinda thinking on creating a youtube channel that plays games while giving life advices but don't know if I'm actually good at it since it was a relationship problem I wanted to help him out, out of curiosity and creativity.

Also, I'll also try to make a second channel if my first became a bit good(the second channel mainly talks about the 'Research Material :D' direction, or just basically talk about what my knowledge contains about my researches of anything related(zombies, aliens and other types of unique ideas) and provide a better scope of new creative ideas to give writers or viewers whose interested in that topic).
