Tomorrow is the last day of the month, so it's newsletter day! :blob_evil:

I'll probably remove the earthquake-related quests at that point. If you started writing something but the quest was removed, it's still okay to submit it, so don't worry!

Keep writing your story at your own pace. Many roleplays that I participated in the past employed a concept known as "liquid time", meaning that time doesn't have to correspond perfectly between all the roleplayers. We sort of pretend that it matches up, even if one day elapsed for Player A and seven days elapsed for Player B -- it's still okay for everyone to participate in current events.

There isn't a 'canon' or 'official' date in Sky Archipelago. Given players' writing speeds, time probably moves slower in the game than in real life.
Um is it possible to make an archive of the quests? I was planning to start writing but rl is a bitch and now I am thinking of just writing it afterwards and then rearranging it to proper timeline in my story.

They will probably just get a strikethrough.

Unless people prefer a cleaner quest board (in which case I can ask Tony if it's possible to delete/move certain quests periodically and dump it into another archive thread).

Heya! I’m done catching up the novels on my reading list. I will start writing now but I kinda need tl:dr for world building :blob_teehee:
We got isekai'd to a flying archipelago! A medi-fantasy setting with some steampunk elements to it!

Follow basic AG guidelines for basically everything else... That's it! ^^)/
Basically what Alice said and you could look through people's novels or the library for more information regarding the world.

I think the falling island plot is an amazing idea in general. Either of the proposed ones work for me.
I might actually be able to get some diplomacy stuff done too (psst I can probably sort of represent the lower world guys with my char if anyone is willing to engage in diplomacy)

You should probably discuss that with @BouncyCactus if you want to make that possible.

I do think a cleaner quest board might be better in the long run

I mean, you can just copy paste the quests you wanna write about in a PM with a clone account of yours or something~

Then you'll have them archived for yourself~

I second this.....maybe a strikethrough title will be good enough, incase anyone started late and have something to do, or returned in order to build upon another existing quest that was completed.

Totally! Although my character right now isn't involve himself with the Lower World yet, but I think we have one shota pretty elven harem protag (*cough* @GodlyKamui *cough*) that already making contact with the native...... He a noble, and a charismatic one at that too.
If contact is directly make with my char however, that will take some time, but im down for it!

Hm, My char is basically an assistant ambassador in an whole entourage sent by a bunch of dragons to the newly appeared floating islands. She has also registered as a member of the guild coz reasons.
So now basically if we go ahead with the event to orbital strike some poor kingdom, I would be one of the parties that will engage in the initial talks at the very least between queen/her representatives vs that kingdom's.
I would assume the dragons would lean a bit towafds the kingdom's side but sould in general be a neutral party to help conduct the talks.

So I do think a noble like char on the other hand might be a better idea

That being said @BouncyCactus we can do something else like say, you can show me around the islands considering my char isnt familiar with them.

That….could be arrange, but my char also isn’t from SA itself either…….We could try to make it work, with some kind of random encounter, cus I don’t really see a way that a shy and introvert explorer that somehow voluntarily involved himself with an ambassador envoy.....He would actively avoiding them in fact.

Quest Evaluation

Ah! Welcome back, Mr. Gargan! You've done a lovely job once again! We appreciate such hardworking and active adventurers such as yourself! With your help, everything went smoothly and the locals are very satisfied.

Especially the baker who sends... uh his very passionate thanks towards you. Anyways, thanks again Mr. Gargan for your continuous help with the citizens of Sky Harbor!

By the way, even though you are such a strong individual you must make sure to take good care of your health and eat something so I slipped a little something in with your rewards hehe!

With regards,
Ryland the receptionist.

Rewards :

A box of homemade star shaped cookies

A bird pin..... ?

Random question, but was there a reason why Mr. Gargan wasn't paid? I mean, if it's intentional (or payment in cookies), that's totally fine -- just checking in case it was accidental! :blob_happy:

Although personally I think it's way more interesting when the guild is stingy and doesn't pay the adventurers, lol

I'm glad my character's main income isn't from the guild.

Because I saw that Mr. Gargan had been paid for his previous quest and that he might have had some money left over. Honestly, I should have probably given at least some money but yeah. But if you want me to change it I will!
