Removed from Latest Updates

I went to the create section --> Uploaded a chapter --> went back to the create section --> Kept an eye on the analytics --> Went back to the main chapter --> Was --> My update was nowhere to be seen in the 'Latest updates'.

P.S. Those books which were updated along with mine were there, and also, those which have been uploaded 2 hours back were there too.

Does this happen sometimes?

Hmm... even with all these sequences of events, I am still perplexed... maybe that's just me.

Nevertheless, if you've uploaded a chapter and the update wasn't in the latest update, then it was either overshadowed by a bunch of updated novels and you were just unfortunate enough to be unable to find it, or life is punishing you for double-checking everything. Prolly just leave it alone for a while once you uploaded a chapter because it is only a matter of time before someone finds it.

Don't worry, if it felt like that would hinder the increase of views and stuff—then your best bet is to pray to God that when you upload your chapter, the other authors don't do it too.

If you're refering to your update not showing up instantly, then yes. It happens a lot. In fact, by design, most likely.
It even says so somewhere when you're in the process of adding a new series that approval of a new series takes up to 24h, thereafter every new chapter becomes available within 5 minutes.

It looks like the chapter you talked about has showed up. If you're posting more than one chapter, then the next one is likely put on hold due to spam prevention. This is also a likely reason why your chapter is not available instantly.

So calm down and get a drink. If it doesn't show up at all after several hours, its likely lost and you should submit it as a bug.

Also, I am not referring to the delay of a couple of minutes which is there, after posting the chapter.
I posted the chapter and it showed up in the latest updates but after 10-15 minutes it was gone and it was not due to lots of stories being posted at the same time. Because I could see stories in the list which have been posted 2 hours back.

Alright, that is indeed strange. Never heard of a chapter disappearing from the list, and I don't think it should. Maybe it's something new.
I'd write a thread in the bug section if I were you.

If you changed anything in the chapter order, then the anti-cheat function will remove you from the latest chapter updates
