Not a tip. I am the one in need of a tip xD I had observed my abusive tendencies using (and) and (comma). In almost all of my series (both published and unpublished) they appear like a hundred times. Not only in creative works but also in academic papers.

It might be because of my lacking vocabulary and technical-know-how. Or maybe there are other reasons. What is it though? How can I solve this?

You're a goddamn addict that's why. Putting commas everywhere. You cant help it. You disgusting pig. Shame on you.

My advice? Stop. Just stop. Get some help.

Or just quit putting in commas altogether. Then add some later. Be like salt bae. Sprinkle em I'm when appropriate

Really? I checked one of the chapters of your story here on scribblehub, and it almost looked like the opposite. There was barely two paragraphs in the entire chapter, everything was just individual lines with barely more than a single 'and' to be seen.

I agree with @jinxs2011 , from what I could see, you're worrying needlessly.
Rather, I would say there are many who don't use nearly enough commas and such, making their texts barely readable even if there are no other real issues.

There's nothing wrong with commas when used correctly. As for and, it can be used to great effect when done correctly. I suspect that you are just being self-conscious because you read someone else's work that seemed wrong either due to misuse of "and" or misuse of commas.

As long as each sentence isn't a 3+ line run-on, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you feel there's too much though, try modifying your writing style.

I am guilty of this. However, I don't think that it is a bad thing. For me, at least, I have a feeling that if I broke down sentences without using a comma, the situation will become somewhat disconnected and not smooth.
