In real life or in media?

In real life, I want someone accepting. Someone who doesn't go around telling me what to do and just accepts me and my lifestyle choices.

Which kinda bleeds onto media, I guess. I prefer gentle maiden childhood friend types in anime.

Off the top of my head, someone like Sakura from Fate. Or Momo from Bleach. However, in an action series, my best girl tend to be tough girls who have a hidden soft side (Like Emi Yusa, Asuna, Rin Tohsaka, etc). Even in games, someone like Alisa from Trails of Cold Steel. You know, those tough types who are actually bottoms lol, for lack of a better term.

A person whose been with me for a long time, happy to help in both ways(being there for that person and etc.), get along pretty well that we would sometimes fight just such that not everything can be okay and letting it out always helps, and Trust.

There's gonna be girls and guys that also want to answer this partner type question lol...

Well...since im grownup, i prefer men. Someone similar to my age. That is, one who is caring, funny, smart but won't look down on you, and average to cute in appearance. But most importantly, someone can find relatable in common things that we both enjoy and share some common values in life. Someone that will be there for your side even when the things get rough, who will be there for you and you can grow old together happily. Someone who you will love you always and the affection is mutual - its not a one side loves more than the other, so when the affection wears off in later years, one doesn't go somewhere while the other is left in pain. Trust, respect, caring, are good aspects of relationship with some dose of funny humor to keep it interesting. More than just a best friend and even after the ages wane, still care for one another deeply and make a great team through whatever struggles that happen and still stick together. Someone that can always bring a smile or a sunshine out of you - the happiness kind.
