Wtf is with the two lately? It seems like the both of them are continuously referrencing one another while jabbing and also circling on old topics like bikini armor and fantasy BFS.

I mean we all know why bikini armor is born, for desperate wankers to jerk off and buy the material of course.

:blob_hide: It's called commercialisation. Not much different from what authors do here.

Well I do feel weird out by them suddenly treading back to old topics that they put down about a year ago and prancing around together.

Like Shad finally ran out of castles and medieval times to talk about while Skall has gone totally bonkers from the lack of going out to maim a ballistic dummy with his sharp toys.

Exactly, the two are definitely doing it on purpose and by mutual agreement. If they keep mutually referencing each other, it allows them to share part of their audience with one another, thus allowing them both to grow far larger than either one of them can on their own.

The Minecraft community does something very similar. There are some Minecraft Youtubers who have started banding together to record on a single server and developing storylines together which you can view from any person's perspective, possibly even all of them.

The most popular right now in this vein is a server called Hermitcraft. The members of the Hermitcraft server are among the absolute largest Minecraft Youtubers out there (outside of Pewdipie, who has other things going for him.) A lot of what makes these people so big is the fact that they are just together on the same server and are constantly referencing each other as a result.

It is logical if you think about it. How do expand market shares with little effort? Talk about what is popular.

Ai-chan has never been a fan of Shadiversity to be honest. He used to talk out of his ass a lot. Sure he has more facts now, but still, Ai-chan wouldn't take his words seriously. He's kind of a joke in the LARPing community. In many cases, he doesn't know what he's talking about because he has never tested what he claimed to be true. He just googles stuff and then compile it in a way that encourage people to click his videos. As a youtuber and a marketing specialist, he's probably among the best. But as an authority or a scholar... no, he's not really there... you could've just googled things yourself. He's not adding any value to the topic. Not to mention that he often got things wrong because he never experienced things himself.

Skallagrim on the other hand, he actually tested things, even to the point of using his own body to prove a hypothesis. He asserts that some things are true, and he proceeded to prove that these things are true. He probably isn't as good at presenting the stuff he wanted to say and came off as boring in some of his videos, but whatever he told you, he had tested it and ensured that the premise was sound. Sure, he could miss some details due to prior bias, but if you find that he missed some variables, you could inform him and he could redo the experiment.

So if there are ever any disagreements between the two, listen to Skallagrim. He knows what he's talking about. He's tested what he talked about. Well, this was true like 2 years in the past. Ai-chan hasn't clicked any of Skallagrim's videos for 2 years because Ai-chan wasn't interested. He's kind of boring, to be honest.
