I write by hand first, before typing the rest. Especially helpful to me since I avoid being distracted by internet articles whenever I'm writing.
True. I probably need do that too. Everything is done online nowadays so its really easy to get distracted a ton.

I don't write actual chapters out usually (unless I get the FEELS and I have no other choice but to type it out on my phone, which I hate but still do), but I do plan them out on paper most of the time! This leads to me writing out excerpts to include for later chapters by hand, too, but the actual chapters are started and written by type.

A lot of times, that 'type' includes typing it out on this really neat text app when I'm on public transportation, because that's when the ideas flow...

I have three documents I use for writing.

The first one is for brainstorming my chapter idea.
The second one is for storyboarding the chapter idea further and developing more of its details. If something is unnecessary by the point, its deleted or reworked.
The third one is for actually writing, reviewing, and editing what I've written before I post anywhere.

This is all I do, and it's worked thus far. (o wo)b

maybe i should split and make a mini haha. one for forums and one for just nice quietness of writing.

I write in a way that is similar to how people create movies and animations, hence the "storyboarding".

It just allows me to put up a very rough idea of what I'd like to happen without spending a lot of time. Just a couple of sentences that vaguely describe what happens at "this point in the story", and continue on. Using bullet points also allows me to string additional details to each point, but keep it all moving in one direction.

Even if someone is asking me for feedback, I do it all the same way. (o wo)b

For me it's more of a situational thing.
I only write on paper when I don't have any electronics around me. But when I do, then yes I will type on tablets, phones, laptops, or computers over papers.

Since I do have electronics around me most of the time, I tend type out my stories.

Pretty much the same. I try transitioning to writing by hand but then there are electronics around so I just shift them there. I still jot down notes and scribbles though.
