I went through this inkscape tutorial:

Then, I found a nice photo in pose i liked, traced some of it, changed the parts I wanted different, added egg and crack on it (important parts of the story).
Also good idea to have a handful of references of covers I liked, to search for good ideas to execute with the cover

Since the ancient scripture version was long lost in the sea of universe. I think this is the revised version on how to use snakes to concoct a heaven defying pill.
