Before killing someone 'The Punisher' mutters 'One Batch, Two Batch, Penny, and Dime'.
I am quite inspired by it, So I wanted to add something like that into my novel, do you guys have rhymes like this, that will fit perfectly into a scene, where the character is trying to kill someone?

For reference ( Warning spoilers.)

I mean writing a rhyme related to his trauma works...

You know kaneki from tokyo ghoul? He regularly cracks his finger due to someone torturing him also when he's torturing someone he made them count 1000-7 progressively(the answer should also be minus 7)

Or so I remember since I dropped tokyo ghoul

But it doesn't rhyme? Ai-chan doesn't understand. Apart from the 'ch', nothing else rhyme?

I think op meant to add "Nursery" as in nursery rhyme as the "rhyme" he's quoting is from a show where it is purposefully missing the other lines containing the childish whimsy and rhyming words.

An example of a popular nursery rhyme with a dark connotation:
"Ring around the rosy
A pocketful of posies
We all fall down!"

It would be nice to know if the character is supposed to be of the childish killer type variety or trauma ridden momento holder(ie like the punisher). And even then the stuff we come up with will be pretty random is there a theme like comedic or remorseful (i know you said it was supposed to be for when they kill someone but I don't know the character.)

”With that end, my enemies will continues to bend.”

Edgy, implies you have secret enemies(looking at you, me), All poetic with ends instead of death, and
I told you it so that makes it cooler than everybody elses.

Maybe this will help you understand my request. This is the closest scene I could find on youtube where he uses this phrase.

Not sure if this is what you want but I have a few lying around in my head that I used in my story or plan to use. Mostly iterated from existing stuff used to fit my story. Feel free to adapt them as needed after all writing is about iteration. The ones in bold are the parts I feel may be able to fit.

Take up our quarrel with the foe

The torch from failing hands we throw

The torch be yours to hold up high

Do not break faith with us who die

--------------------

Through the ruins, Through the pain

Voices never heard again

High above the rotting bones

Flesh and metal, Beaks and crows

------------------

Little light, little light

You who shine so bright

Why can’t I see

All the colors that you see

Please can I be

Colorful and free

With this Breath, you meet Death.

Works for draconian person or just someone who breaths out deadly substances (like acid/poison or fire)

This is from a movie named "A nightmare on Elm Street", this is where the killer comes singing a nursery rhyme to kill the children.

1,2
Freddy's coming for you.
3,4
Better lock your door.
5,6
Grab a crucifix.
7,8
Better stay awake.
9,10
Never sleep again.

This is cuz, he's someone who'll kill children in their dream.

Maybe get the character a weapon and inspire the rhyme from there.

Or the way he kills.

Or his other names.

Or his grievances.

Or random gibberish?

And no, I'm not trying to rhyme here.

*mic drop*
