I got the idea around a week ago but thinking about I don't think I have the skills to make this idea work. So I decided to share it and hope maybe someone will write it up? It's okie if no one does though, it's just an idea in its budding stage.
It's basically about this Dystopian Society where people's education is limited. Only a selected few that works for the government are allowed to be educated. In this time there are no books because everything is online now. People need these inhalers to breathe in the air because the air is so polluted that if you breathe it in, it will kill you. Everyone is heavily monitored by the Police so there was no chance for any rebellions and people was too distracted by entertainment to care, The government supplied entertainment that the people wanted to stay happy and people didn't care. There was no one with relationships either, they had test tube babies. If a person donated their genes that are healthy then you get paid for your eggs. Everyone is mostly jobless because it's so high tech that no one needs manpower. The only reasons why there are still so many humans around was due to their usefulness in experimentation which isn't known to the public. Basically, most humans are raised and used as lab rats. There isn't much face to face communications either because of the technology again. But here comes our main characters~ there are a cyber police officer and a researcher. Basically, these two are one of the selected few that knows some parts of this cycle/system they are in. The government gathers these people when they are still kids and raise them to work for the government. They get taught Math, English, some Biology but not History. They have jobs as a police officer, politician, researcher, or entertainer, etc. Basically, the jobs that the simple-minded robots can't do. There isn't an all-rounder intelligent robot yet because of fear that the robot is too smart~ Our lead will be a researcher somewhere and starts doubting his life due to a question from a human lab rat before it died. The researchers btw only carry out experimentations coded and generated from a robot that is designed for that only. I haven't thought of the question yet~ but it should be something profound *adds sound effects* then, of course, he would wanna change how things work and start spreading y'know these forbidden thoughts. I'll admit these ideas are largely inspired by Fahrenheit 451 but with my twist in it? I have these ideas but I could never put it into actual words without it sounding bad and simple so I decided to post it here~ Hoping maybe someone will turn it into a good story? :blob_cookie:

This would make good smut.
1984 the movie not the book as I haven't read that, but according to thug note it should be in the book to was a guy working for the government disillusioned by it's boringness and mostly thinking that being intimate with his girlfriend in a Dystopia was some form of Rebellion.

Yeah I got that Fehrenheit 451 all over your post, but not the book, but the shitty remake that is the movie. As having the internet kind put a dent to the whole idea of Fehrenheit 451 because their is such thing as E-Books and if people can't even read E-Books how do they even communicate with text or is everyone just using their voice?

Also if the Future advance enough and people are born of test tube baby why don't they just have chips implanted in their brain to control them? Also what is the point of human experimentation by kidnapping or I am assuming that is the case because that is the reason why according to you human are still useful and not just use test baby born?

I feel like you using Fehrenheit 451 combine with our modern setting to create a Dystopia just simply makes no sense. As Fehrenheit 451 is before a time when information can be limited to Books that make it easy for other to control information, while the modern age information is so overwhelming reality is getting fragmented due to different interpretation of that information.

So any Dystopia will need to rely on modern application of technology more on the Dark side like Black Mirror not any old Dystopia Book as Utopia and Dystopia changes with the ideals of the time.

Ohh~ I see your points, but then again this is just a budding idea so there's much room for change if anyone wanna write about it. Just throwing this idea out there~ Clearly, this isn't well thought-out.

Do you have any ideas to contribute maybe? To improve it?
