That sounds intense. I used maps before to visit a canal. Dragged the little guy and dropped him on the streets so I could immerse myself in the landscape. Kept pressing the arrow to go forward and got lost down a side street. Had to escape and drop him back where he was supposed to be.

Just using Google Maps probably would have been the wiser and less silly option, but I didn't take it. I didn't even get any good photos because it got dark too soon :blob_teary:

That’s... really unfortunate. But that is some old school level dedication.

Well, that just happened to me. Spanish class, oral presentation. You see, one of my characters is a lovable iguana. The animal has many complicated plans. However, those plans tend to go south. Though, the animal does manage to make it work somehow, even if the outcome is disastrous.

With this being said. I came up with a complicated plan. Papers on the side with translations, up to 10 different responses to possible questions to teacher will ask. As well as a contingency if the teacher asks what I am presenting. Well, at the end of the presentation, she asked the one damn question I was not prepared for. XD

I somehow got it, but well, it coulda gone a lot better for that final moment. I did great overall though. I came in so prepared, plans and everything. Then the one thing that is so unlikely happened. ?

I even had my phone on the side as back up responses. As well as four sentences to push me into the presentation properly. I had this planned out down to the very finest detail. Yet the one question that is so unlikely happened. ?

Made me feel like the iguana in my story. ?

What about you lot?
Figures this would be by you XD

Yes, there are times where I feel like the characters in my stories. Usually happens when someone says something really stupid or when I'm sitting around doing nothing but it looks like I'm trying to figure out the meanings of life, the universe, and everything. I also tend to act like some of my characters when mad

If you wanna know how bad the iguana fails, even though he thinks ahead. This is how.

And for some reason, I am imagining one of those people who sassily tells off people.

Like I've already said, the iguana is fabulous

Psh. Don't know about you, but apparently I'm naturally sassy

Some of my characters has deep emotions and traumas based on what I see or feel in real life. Emotionally bonded with them is what I would call it, because the MC's big brother is the one I could relate much.

I am usually putting myself into MC's skin while writing
