I was talking about the url connection not being secure. like how some site pages have locks next to the url address bar, it shows your connection is secure. Some sites or pages, in place of the lock, it says Not Secure next to the url address bar. certain threads have a Secure connection next to the url address bar, while certain ones like the scribblehubs anniversary v.2 has a Not Secure right next to the url address bar.

If it said the URL connection wasn't secure, it was most likely because something in that thread wasn't secure. Probably an image linked from an unsecured site?

Thanks for answering my question. I'm not sure about the images on the 1st page of the Scribblehub Anniversary v.2 thread. Only the 1st page of that thread had a Not secure URL connection, but the following pages of that thread showed a secure URL connection. So I was just curious.

@crownfall @Discount_Blade Why not use both? I used to use USB for ideas but then it gets irritating because have to remember which USB or device has that file. If saved to Google Drive, it saves to cloud, so you can still access it on any device. If one needs to be offline and can't access the internet, then just use Microsoft Word or another offline application. I use Word for my ideas and also there are writing apps out there too. Like JotterPad, WriterPlus, Auctor, etc.

I think its good to use both Google Drive and USB. Google Drive to save it all in one place. Word to write offline. Both works, its up to each other's own preference though.

For mobile apps to help with writing (genre/character/plots/chapters/scenes/etc),

There is also currently a Collab Writing app going on, although its still in the works called Fortelling.
The founder also created Writer Tools. I generally don't use this. Only 1 story is available to create, to create more, then its pricey.
Creator also has Writer Challenges which I don't use.

Novelist is good in that its Free, and is another app to help writers plan out their stories. Writer Tools app feel more easier to navigate, however Novelist app is free and is pretty good and detailed.

Auctor has some of that and also has writing challenges within its app so I think you can share. Or just use it to plot your novel stuff. Free.

MyStory app is good too and also free. I kinda like it - it also has genre/character/plot/chapters/scenes/corkboard but haven't really done much on it.

I think you can use Jotterpad Online in browser. However, I'm not sure about the night mode. Night mode on mobile requires a fee.

Hopefully important threads will have secure URL connection. Not secure page doesn't sound very safe to visit and be on.
