How do you deal with declining valid reads?

So I have a story that has been raking about 1.3k Valid reads per day, and after over a week of posting, it quickly went to the 1.9k mark. Now, after taking a small hiatus of 2 days, my valid views have dropped to about 800.

What do you guys do when something like this happens? Now I am afraid I won't hit my 50k views milestone per week as planned.

Heck yeah, why the heck else are we doing this? to put more words on the internet? No, it's for the pleasure of the crowd. a valid read is an attaboy that tells you that you did a good job. welcome to the 21st century, social media is where we get our kicks.

The same as writers look how many readers enjoy their work...

Sadly those numbers are updated in real time and not every few weeks.
Imagine a band would see their ticket sales drop every time they fail during practice... they would only argue instead if getting better through hard work...

Someone who has, I'm sure smaller (like 1000times) valid reads from you, I can't help but still feel proud of you at having that number! Still, don't lose your will and just enjoy what you are doing. :)

Honestly, I don't care about the view too much. Because you know what, if your story were good then the view would automatically rise. If not, then non-stop improve your novel quality. The taste of the majority of readers is unstable (but most of them always like some kind of OP MC, Harem, isekai stuff,... holy f###, too much!). So you can't really say that your view will be the same or increase day by day.
A quality constructive comment from a person who really enjoys your work is way 100 times better than 10000 virtual views with those simple comments like thanks for the chapter,... If you do write for the view then good luck.
Quality always better than quantity, but it even worse when you show off your view per day like do you even think for those writers who try their best but only get a few views. Respect each other please, pal. Maybe there are fictions which have less viewer than yours but totally overwhelmed by the quality. I still can't believe that thinking exists, gosh.
