A melody of mistakes and self-punishment. The slow build up from the start acts as a realization to their wrongs. As the music swells through the first half, the subject ignores the problem as much as they could while the pressure builds, adding more bass and instruments into the mix.
Eventually, the pressure is too much to take, and the reality of the situation explodes in the subjects' face, introducing sick guitar riffs and shreds as a means to conveying how deep in shit the subject has gotten themselves into, punishing them from inside as the chords grow less comprehensible and simply turn to rotten noises.
The final, calm stretch of the last few minutes acts as an uncertainty, as the self-punishment takes hold, the subject is left in the trance; either to pick themselves back up from their wrongdoings, or wallow in self-deprecation and destruction of what they had done.
