Your opinions on the 'Ayashimon' manga

Hello!!!!
For anyone on this site that has read the manga known as 'Ayashimon', how do you feel about how the story was playing out before it was cancelled? Did you enjoy the story? Were you bored with the way things played out? Or were you feeling like no strong emotions in particular towards the story as a whole?

I personally enjoyed the series while it was still in publication on Weekly Shonen Jump, but I did not enjoy the way things ended in the story.

I thought it was very boring and generic. There was nothing unique or new to the series. Chapter one looked more like a oneshot, character designs were generic, art was generic, MC's backstory was generic and he was extremely one-dimensional. I didn't bother reading it to the end since it was extemely generic, and I obviously have no thoughts about the ending.
