Their powers are only a fraction and they have to be in high school. And school dance is tomorrow. Do they accomplish this 100%?

scenario is too vague. Yul Suyeon would probably beat everyone up there if her highschool era dad was there. Because the moment the two see each other, they are throwing hands.

My FMC wouldn't want to get involved. Marry El Rose would rather take care of her little daughter at home than participate in school drama activities.

After all, she had abandoned her royal princess title to become the final judge of humanity and end brutal tyranny. And when she succeeded in saving the world from tyranny, she was forgotten by the world, but she accepted it and exiled herself to a remote valley to live peacefully with her little daughter.

Depends on the character.

Jack Diamond would assume it was an illusion and wind up getting himself in a lot of trouble. probably miss the dance in detention, or wind up banishing the school administrators to some other dimension if he has access to even 1/4 of his resources.

Kelly (Strange Awakening) would nail it easily as the male version was a star player on the hockey team and the female version was not quite the beauty she would become, but still a championship skater and very popular as a teen. Heck, they might even be the bad guys in this scenario since they both grew a lot after that period.

Nathan Daniels (True Blue) would be even more clueless than usual since he has no memory of anything teenaged at all and it would be an utterly alien experience for him.

In the story posted to HoneyFeed (The Kaiju System), that was part of the story, so he did nail it, more or less.

In my PocketFM stories...
Well, in Between Earth and Pyrroth they've talked about it, but it was eight years before the story starts... And they had a mix of nailing it or not... It would pretty much go the same way a second time around (well, except Liz was not around, and Sandra was ... well, they rarely did that kind of thing at the Temple).

In Digital Cowboy Dane ... he didn't do dances unless pressured by his sister to be her chaperone (which happened frequently once he could drive, up until he enlisted in the Marines and she was on her own for her last two years).

Hmmm,

Nick has the body if Jinwoo so if the abridged version of solo leveling, sister leveling tells me anything, he has multiple options to take to the prom;

Esil from the demon tower (Demon route)
Han Song-yi (Jailbait route)
Sung Jinah (Sweet Home Alabama route)
:p

As for my other MC, well...he is too damn old for that crap...he has been a teacher and principal though so maybe he abuses his authority to get a partner for the night...

She couldn't handle a high school dance even at full demon-killing power.

So no, hard fail.

V was in high school from 1994 to 1996. If we're doing teenage V, he'll still be a philosophical smartass, but not insane. But if this is V right now in the book sent back to 1995, everything would become really depressing really fast. He wouldn't care too much about the dance itself.

He would definitely go to McDonald's; being able to talk to his parents again, he wouldn't cry, but he may give his father and mother a firm handshake. Also would visit the bridge that would change his life. All what I just said would be after the dance.

During the dance it would be snowing outside; if V had friends back in the day, he would have some bittersweet scenes with them.

And he would definitely like being back on Earth but would be a bit lonely without his Conrads by his side.

Or he just won't go, get pissed drunk, and then eat at a McDonald's.

No matter how this ends V is going to get drunk and eat at a McDonald's

She'll probably wind up in the security room watching feeds, staring at other girls

Hallie would have spiked the drink with her ADHD medication. True chaotic neutral at its finest.

It depends on what you mean by "accomplish this."

The thing is he's not a "cheater," per se; he's just "friendly."

The last time he was in a large gathering with multiple girls who had a crush on him, he ended up in a drunken fight because dude called his sister-orphan a halfbreed.

That sounds hilarious, but what effect would that actually have?

Well, if it's all three of them, then it's easy, they go together.

If they are thrown individually into the scenario, and assuming it's just a dance:

Mordecai will almost certainly end up taking someone. If his objective is to have a date for the dance, he will look for someone who needs a date. Leans towards girls, but might bring a boy. Even with minimized powers, he can probably still change his gender between two base forms, as this is much reduced from his full shape changing abilities, so he can match what ever his dance partner might prefer. Post dance activities will depend on a combination of his marital status, and his date's preferences (if he's single).

Moriko's going to show up with a boy on one arm, a girl on the other. If from a point in her life where she's single, she's probably going to be leaving with them and a few more besides. If from later in the story, then she's probably picked a pair that need a little encouragement and guidance to get together properly, and then leave them to it after the dance.

Kazue is really going to depend on timing.

From a little before the story starts? Probably a fail, unless the right sort of person approaches her. If they are too swaggery or assertive, she's going to (literally) run. If they are also shy and having trouble approaching, well, neither of them is going to approach the other. What she needs is someone confident, insightful, and gentle enough to basically say something along the lines of, "I bet you're thinking about all the things that a dance might lead to. It might, it might not, I'm not worried about it. For the moment, it's just a dance. After the dance? I'm going to just drive you home unless you say otherwise."

Later on? Well, she's married, so it won't be any more than a dance, but she's mostly confident enough to be able to make a flirty approach and get someone to ask her out, if she doesn't ask first. She's probably going to ask a fellow bookworm to help them out and make sure she's not getting someone who is going to try anything stupid.

Whether or not they have a fraction of their power or are in high school doesn't make a difference in their ability to dance at the prom.

Anna is currently 8 in the story so she’ll be more powerful when she’s high school age… Anyway she’d just go to the dance and have fun.

Most of the students are dead. Only those who were smart enough to close their eyes survived.

Technically she ain't a pedo now...

She will obliterate the dance floor with two lifetimes of classical dance. And the knowledge to get jiggy with it.

Drama? Even with her powers reduced, she can cast fist and channel old fuck+nobility upbringing.
