Somewhere out there is a (seemingly) real world you wake up in that looks just like an otome game you've played: its characters are living, breathing people with events that play out exactly as you've seen in the game.

But... how?!

Is the game in our world based on real events that happened (or will happen) in a parallel universe that some deity reincarnated you into?
Were you abducted for a secret experiment and are now living in a simulated reality based on the otome game, Matrix-style?
Or is it something even... weirder?

So how do you get isekai'd into an otome game? Truck-kun alone doesn't count!

An earthquake happened causing me to wobble and my hand whacked my soda over my laptop. I realized my computer was plugged in for a charge so I decided to unplug it fast from the electric socket before it burned down the whole house. I regret me lazy ass instead pouring a cup of soda I just took the whole liter to my room so I can drink it all since I live by myself anyways. I also regret being a dumbass and not realizing to wipe my hands before I pulled the plug. My chair had run over the cord so much that it you can see the strands of wires within the cord. It started to smell fizz when I put my hand on it. I suddenly felt lightheaded and the pressure in my ears abrupt. It made me move uncontrollably and one hand on monitor before I blackened out.

I woke up and thought I would be in my room. But ah well...
he last thing I read was an otome/slash horror. You have to find the right person to partner up with, and there is always one person in the shadows trying to wipe out the whole group.

It doesn’t need that much of an explanation, just say that people weren’t aware that the game’s world actually exists is enough! XD
Though after reading a Korean Manga, I feel you could add that the Heroine and maybe also the Villainess were cursed to endlessly loop the story and its many routes as people play the game!

My boyfriend died from Truck-kun in 2015 after taking a spill off his motorcycle on his way home from work. Well, technically he died in the helicopter on the way to the hospital, but yeah. So if I wanted to wind up in the same world as him, I would go find the spot where Truck-kun hit him and perform some sort of ritual there. I'd consult his widow for advice; she's Wiccan.

There was an extensive war with extraterrestrial life forms and after a grueling amount of time, was lost.
Taken over by these aliens we were studied. To find out about this human emotion called love, which had given them massive pains during the war, they used the humans own creations otome games.
They created a alternate reality where they took prisoners wiped their memory of them, created new memories and gave them the objective 'fall in love'. This was carried out in large scales.

i am a god who is unaware of his powers. That's the only explanation. I must remember my powers before i cease to exist.

Oh heroine's highschool bully called her a bitch.
I don't give a fuck i have more existensial problems to deal with.

So there is a normal highschool setting and there is one guy treating it like eldritch mythos and trying to fit in pieces going all symbolism and stuff.
He eventually comes to a conclusion that he may be in a world for entertainment of gods. Maybe victory means cessation of existence or immortality. He tries setting up a time loop.

{sadly it's a normal otome game world without magic or super science soooooooooooooooooooooooo it turns into a comedy }

The only reason cast tolerates it is .
.
well it's otome game it's not incredibly smart and the protagonist quite easily solves problems because he can give some basic therapy and is good with words and giving impassioned speeches once every 3 or 4 days. Because unlike the real world where an impassioned speech cheers you up for a day till you forget it. Here one speech can be life changing.

the only otome game i played until finish is hatoful boyfriend, so i can't really relate to those otome game stories. most of those i knew aren't even in medieval europe fantasy setting. if there's anything close, it's on medieval japan jalled yo-jin-bo iirc.

so in the end, everyone are birbs, and i happen to be a depressed african parrot in the school library. not giving a damn whether that human girl will shag a pigeon or not.

how did i get here--that's what I'd like to know myself.

That's a good idea :blob_evil_two:

But what are the odds of that xD I was thinking, with infinite monkey theorem and an infinite number of possible universes, there could be a world that coincidentally has all the events of an otome game. Who knows, maybe Bakarina is really out there somewhere :blob_sweat:

actually he is not a god. It's just a normal highschool setting . He got isekaied just by chance.

Story would be basically about how grand he is trying to make his situation out to be and how mundane his situation is.

He gets isekaied while busting a nut. and his first thought is " this is not happen stance but Clearly that nut was so powerful that my subconsciousness created a whole world for me."
Guy treating normal game like SCP foundation

I was using a gas stove, and left it a little open, so gas started leaking in. I couldn’t smell, so the next morning I made some toast. I was incinerated nearly instantly.

When I was younger though, I dreamt of being transported while having a backpack full of essentials. Like the ones I bring to camping :) suddenly the space distorts and suck me in ahhhhhh!!!

I watched the 60 ways to isekai vid. Let's go for something different.

48 hour stream marathon challenge. A poor diet and the high stress from trying to be entertaining lead to heart failure from exhaustion.

...how about being a factory worker who accidentally fell into a shredder and got hacked and torn into pieces?

That has never been done, right?

Sorry for your loss. If you don't mind me saying, 'reincarnating to the same world as a loved one' sounds like an interesting premise for a story. I bet someone's probably done it..

Well then, who could be capable of freeing them from that curse? An earthling that got Isekai'd into the game's universe! XD

I dream a little too hard and (in this story universe) since the universe is made of star dust with no law or order, I draw it up so realistically that it mistakes my dream for a reality and creates another universe within my dreams which another self of mine transports into. That is the isekai world, except I don't know the logistics over it and think I just reincarnated into another being.
