The story starts with the MC moving into his grandpa’s house after quitting his job. He has cancer and knows he won’t make it. When rummaging through his grandpa’s stuff, he finds a painting with a dot on it. He touches the dot and feels something mystical. Eventually he figures out that he can take from this reality, to create a new one. He starts by adding a bunch of soil and air. He also adds ants and watches them. The less complex the dimension the faster the speed in it compared to ours. MC can understand everything that happens in the dimension and one day, sees that the is an ant queen that can communicate to her ants using her mind and they seem to have a long life time, with all bodily attributes being enhanced. He finds out that this was due to a power originating from the dimension, and uses it on him self. He cures his cancer, and explores his powers and how they affect his life. (Here the author, quite blatantly, doesn’t know if they want this to be mainly about MC living in our world, or about what happens in the dimension. So, the story becomes slightly irritating. Stick with it though, it gets way better.) MC figures out that the power comes from things living and dieing in his dimension. Eventually all the ants die, and MC uses this power supplemented with energy from the sun, to create a new world. Through experiments he creates a system of magic and prevents other living things from directly tapping into that magic system. From here on we see many civilizations, their rise and fall, and what those mean for the future. I highly recommend this series 8/10!
