James brought home a robot, and his curious son and wife immediately asked what it was. "It's a robot that slaps anyone who lies," James explained.
To demonstrate, he turned to his son. "Where were you last night?"
"I-I was at my friend's house studying," his son stammered. The robot spun around and slapped the boy.
"Tell the truth, or I’ll have to use my belt!" James warned.
"Alright! I was at the club with my friends," the son confessed. Again, the robot slapped him. This time, James was fuming.
"Fine! I was at a motel with my girlfriend," the son finally admitted, and the robot stayed still.
James sighed, then said, "You know, when I was your age, I studied hard. I was the top student in the whole city."
As soon as he finished, the robot turned and slapped James. His wife and son burst into laughter.
"Why wouldn’t it? After all, he's your son!" his wife teased, still laughing.
But before she could finish her sentence, the robot turned and slapped her too.
