Let's suppose person A loved person B and married her, but person B was attacked by person A's enemies in their wedding and died.

Person A traveled in time and married person C so person B wouldn't die. But Person A died later defending person C when their country was invaded.

Person C traveled in time and purposely made person A hate her so he wouldn't die defending her.

The question is, how do I make it look less confusing in the story? Should I continue with this plot or scrap it?

This plot sounds great.

As for how to make it less confusing...don't.

The entire point of time travel is to create misunderstandings and all. Let the audience see the butterfly effect, let them think
