1. Dats a fun question but. I me befriended a a bunch and talked with dat nice...creatures dan maybe me also can see dat a demon lord not dat bad at least? Well, who knows. But id mostly wont stop the genocide really. If me human side dan dat man eating whoever dey r killed a lot so its a kill or be killed. Rather natural stuff. But if i sympathize dan id most likely just wont be the part of a genocide while doing my stuff and helping dat in need as heroes do. Be it a man eating monster or a monster eating man. Still lets go to the next point.
2. Actually - nothing. Or "We eat ya" as an option. You see, if deyre just need human flesh dan no metter how nice and good deyre its rather pointless to even think dat dey will look at humans in other way dan food. We also have cattle and stuff. Sure its not dat intelligent but heey, i love my cow. I can talk to her even if she wont listen. She gives milk(no do milk jokes plz) and shes cute and stuff so i wash her i love her i feed her. But well eat her anyway rnt we? Same is here. Me can be nice to humans but first and firstly of all - deyre food. If we go with an attractive part...sure dere r people who r okay with dey food being fucked before eating, i heard of it. But being fucked by ur food before eating it is a novel concept so it needs and extra discussion.
3. What do ya mean "also corrupt"? Show me an uncorrupted human society and id laugh on ur face seeing how actually corrupt it is. In one way or another humans and in a fantasy intelligent enough living beings r just mostly corrupted and stupid pieces of shit except for some small and closed societies dat can be nice sometimes but even dere play for corruption exists. People want power. Most of em. So its more like helping uncorrupted ones is a good thing to do, cuz good people r good.
4. Dats a natural way. War is won and enemy is yours. And if its a different race dan its time for some free working manpower eh? Even our history did da same with fellow humans so why would me be surprised dat humans would like to do dat with demons? Or me hero me have some influence so me need to stand at a plaza and cry out loud "stahp its not right!" while being da one who actually slew tha demon lord and won da war? Well dats a good joke.
