Would my story be accepted into RoyalRoad?

I want to expand my story, My Succubus Roommate, to other sites and I already have other stories on RoyalRoad, but I've put them on hiatus until I get out of school and can officially work on them without problem. My story on here got decently good views for not even being on for a month. I'm already nearing 10k total views and I'm pretty sure the next chapter I put out will do it and I want to see how it'll fare on RR. However, the story is filled with some sex scenes. Not really all that graphic either, just a single paragraph that doesn't really describe much, and two or three paragraphs where I describe an oral sex scene. The rest of the stuff is bargain standard nudity that isn't really all that touched upon except, "Look at that nipple. What a lovely thing it is." I'm paraphrasing here of course, but I'm just kind of curios. I want to expand, but I know how RR is about certain things like that, and I just want to see how far I can expand my story.

I'm aiming to become a full time author and I'm using sites like these to get my name out so when I finally publish my first book, which is currently being worked on but I'm making a few tweaks, I won't just find tumbleweed flailing across my monitor. To do this I need to know how other sites operate. So if anyone has any helpful information on other sites as well, or hell, how well making a website solely for my story could work then it would be greatly appreciated. I have a dream I want to accomplish, and I need as much information as I can get. As my MC, Ty Peon, would say, "Eh, do whatever. Who gives a shit if you succeed or not. What matters is that you did it. The only thing I can say is that as long as you're smiling, you won."

That's not exactly what I'm looking for, but it should do. Why am I talking about him like he's real. I made him up. Why am I continuing on with this? Better question is why are you reading this? Stop it.

You'll probably be fine. My story got flagged for having too much sex, but then I asked for manual review, and it passed. They do allow a certain percentage of your chapters to have sex scenes, and it is fine to mention sex as a topic in more chapters. You can read mine to get an idea of what they find acceptable ? Link to Kaiba's Prostitute is in my signature.

Honestly, it probably won’t do well on RR. RR hates harems with a burning passion. Just looking at their trending page you’ll discover there are currently only 3 stories with that tag on the RR trending page and they’re pretty low on the list as it is. Romance is also not a very popular genre on RR. If you take a look at action, adventure, gamelit, LitRPG, and fantasy and you’ll see just how popular those stories are on their trending list.

With RR, your only real shot to be discovered is getting high up on the trending page in the first month or two. If your fiction doesn’t do that then it’s destined to be buried.

The audiences on SH and RR are looking for completely different things. SH readers are much more laid back and don’t care as much. RR readers are way more critical and picky.

If you’re aiming to be a full time author, SH isn’t where you’d want to get popular, RR is. RR readers are far more likely to spend money to purchase something than a SH reader is. Same with reviews, RR is typically much more critical in reviews and their reviews of fictions hold a lot more weight than a review on SH. Oh, but then there’s the review swap culture as well on RR. As a reader I’d typically just ignore those reviews, they’re typically just authors trying to game their way into trending.

Here's a good rule of thumb to consider:

Is it LitRPG?
Is it NOT LGBTQ+?
Does it have accurate portrayals of mythology?
Does it have hamfisted, heavy-handed discussions of philosophy that are generally skewed to favour one side?
Is it free of that filthy harem rom-com us thirty-year-old wizards wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole?

If you answer yes to all five of these, your chances of success in RR is fucking high.
