[Idk if this will fit in this thread or not its my first time posting]
Like the Sci fi dude comes from an alternate world (prob our current world(with no cultivators))/future and the cultivators just blend in with the mortals and they will start to know each other or whatever. They will fight to prevent world destruction that the Cultivators foretold and the sci-fi dude just knows cause he came from the future?

There have been cases where it will work, ex. Black tech internet cafe system, but that still has cultivation as main. But you could try as it very well might work, magic+sci-fi and cultivation+magic both have had good examples of working, so there's no reason for it not to work.

Not exactly what you described, but I had cultivators in my story be more technologically advanced than all civilizations in their galaxy, with sci-fi civilizations in there too. I thought it was an interesting idea

I have said it once before (in the context of how to bend/break the commonly accepted "rules of writing,") and I will say it again. Absolutely anything will work, but it all depends on the implementation. However, the farther outside the normal bounds you go, the more implementation will have to heavy-carry for the lack of support from the other portions of the writing.
